Im fine with them playing but it serves no purpose when there is no young guys needing this for extra opportunity.

I agree about the last 3 years. Next year is a make or break year in my opinion. It should be for gods sake. Sip is right that everyone is just ok that this program is mediocre. People are gonna show up, and unless they dont like Iowa, even with Frans more success, there should be a change. Fans deserve more for what they have given over the past 30 years

Agreed. If this was a young team, do it. It doesnt really have much value. It will be interesting to see if they have enough bodies once the portal opens next week.

I think once out of every 3 years should be doable considering everything here. All those teams have had more success and oustside of NW, are there or in the conversation almost every year. If you are fine with things, then why pay a coach top 20 pay to get no results? Why build an arena and practice facility and spend so much on recruiting if the results are the same? Why spend money on a roster if you dont need to cause making the tourney twice in 30 years is acceptable?

But yet they make the tourney all the time and dont find it difficult to get there. NW makes the list cause they were in a similar spot and have had success in the tourney at a school more challenging than NE. Creighton has quite a run lately after joining thd big east including an elite 8 appearance. Hell, Baylor was left for dead years ago and look what happened.1

It shouldnt be that difficult for NE with the money, resources, and fan support. I get the history, but at some point that has to change. Why has NW, Wisc, Creighton, Iowa, Iowa St make it seem so easy? I get population and recruiting but in bball you only need 3 of the right dudes to make a difference. In a power conf where 10-15 teams have a chance to make it, there is no reason NE isnt consistantly in the tourney.

He has one of the best 3 year stretches ever. Coming off a tourney and coach of the year. NIL and revenue sharing really kicking in next year, other than that those 1st 3 years are a huge black mark. With everything fb is doing now, unless someome ponies up that $15-20M, hes gonna be here 1 more year at least. Its Nebrasketball and thats where we are.
