2025 G Quentin Rhymes is N

I really want to see Rhymes and Nick J off the bench next year. Get a portal big guy similar to Andrew to come off the bench and that's pretty good depth -

Maryland (18-6) vs. Nebraska (16-8) Game Thread

Played about as good as we could've play considering the circumstances we were under with Berke out, Brice and Conor having the flu. Maryland just hit insanely tough shots down the stretch, can't be to mad at that when the other team is just hitting shots. Not out of it getting these next 2 would pretty much solidify our tourney hopes and put less pressure on those last 4 games. -
Ankles are tough just hope its a low sprain and not a high sprain. Swelling is generally a good sign that's it is healing. Hope we get him back for Michigan at least

Houston is a beast I would love to give that kid a walk on opportunity, but I think he should go JUCO or a prep year like the Bashir twins did

Nebraska (13-8) vs. Oregon (16-5) Game Thread

I want Andrew to just pull a three. His stroke doesn't look bad -
Pick n roll defense looked light years better than it has during our losing streak. Claude, Braden, Harper all got whatever they wanted when we were hard hedging or playing drop coverage. We really neutralized KJ in the pnr who I think is one of the most talented guards in the entire country and he'll be a top 10 pick. It looked like we were switching more and did a little softer hedge. The defensive intensity was there our rotations were clean all night. We still gave up open looks but Illinois hoisted a lot of contested 3's. Really wish we had a point guard worth a crap though on offense.

Let’s put something to rest right now

It's very weird to me that this fan base just loves to dunk on the men's basketball program. But when football has 9 straight losing seasons say anything bad about the football program and you might as well get sent to guantanamo bay. It's almost like they want us to fail just so they have something to talk about and make fun of. I wouldn't be surprised if 10% of the fan base actively roots for us to fail outside of jayskers of course. -
I thought Rollie did what he could. Where we got in trouble was on pick n rolls. Andrew is lost when defending pick n rolls. Then they stopped playing drop and hedging to just straight up switching. Then Claude went off. Idk none of our bigs seem to know what they are doing when they hedge. Then they go to drop and we get out of rotation.

Anyone else notice Andrew and Braxton sitting on the bench instead of being in the team huddle towards the end of the game? -

Would be a good game for Berke to get back on track as USC has nobody that can match up with him -
There are really not any true bottom feeders this year besides Minnesota that's what makes it so tough. USC and Washington have enough talent to beat any team and Northwestern is well enough coached to beat anyone. Usually there are about 4 bottom teams you can chalk up to a W. Not this year.

Bold prediction: Berke plays limited minutes (8-10 minutes) and gets hot from three randomly on Saturday.

With the ACC talk imagine if Forbes fails to make the tournament again at Wake. Guy has been on the bubble for like 5 straight years now, what a waste for Hunter. he could've come here and been a legend forever instead he's sitting on the bubble at Wake Forest.
