I'm fine with the schedule. Our non con SOS was 322 last year. This year it will probably be in low-mid 200's. If you really want to get fired up, go to the Saint Mary's game in Sioux Falls. The atmosphere should be electric.

I was watching Connor Essigan's 22-23 highlights. Wow, he is an elite shooter. He moves really well without the ball. He has a lot of Tominaga in him. He should thrive in our offense.

I will say, going 4-0 against the state of Indiana (Purdue and Indiana) was incredible.

Its good to schedule a lot of cupcake mid-majors especially for the NCAA NET rankings. The NET rankings place a huge emphasis on the margin of victory. You can get rewarded for blowing out bad mid majors as much as beating the 60th best team by 1.

I found it interesting how much Fred talked about Andrew Morgan. Maybe we are all underestimating the kind of impact Morgan can have.

I graduated high school with Triston from North Star in 2016. High class dude....and a baller.

This upcoming season (24-25) should be the final year we start seeing a lot of 5th year guys because of covid eligibility. All of the players that started school in 21 don't have the covid year (i.e Andrew Morgan, Chucky Hepburn, Saint Thomas).

It was honestly kinda shocking how good we were last year without a trug pg. Give a lot of credit to Fred and his staff for figuring out a way. Just imagine how good we could have been last year if we would have had a true pg like Worster (top 25 team probably). I'm really excited for the combo of Worster and Ulis. I think they will completely change our offense in a positive way. Very few teams in college basketball find success without having a true pg. Illinois was insanely talented, but their biggest flaw was they didn't have a true pg. If you look at all the sweet 16 teams (except Illinois), all of them have this in common....a true pg.

Yes! I think Williams needs to average around 15-16 and Gary needs to be in the 13-14 range.

I think the main question becomes, can we replace the production we lost ? In terms of scoring, Rienk, Keisei, Allick, Laweance, and CJ averaged 49.3 points per game. Can Griffiths, Essegian, Worster, Ulis, Meah, Morgan, and Jano average around 49 per game ? Here is how I see it in terms of ppg hopefuls. Worster - 8 Griffiths - 10 Ulis - 7 Essegian - 8 Meah - 6 Morgan - 5 Jano - 4

Brutal news. I was confident we would return to the tourney this year and even win a game. Now, I don't feel good about it at all, unless we land a big name in the portal.
