TIE BALL GAME 7-0 RUN

Halftime defensive adjustment: Do not rotate off of Funk. He is their only player that looks comfortable.

I do not feel terrible about that half after starting 10-0 down. Start hitting FTs and continue to play good Defense and we might pull this off.

Quick thought: This team is 10x more fun to watch than any previous FH team. We bring our own energy and you don't feel like your team is going to quit on you if some shots don't fall. You always have hope during the games. People that cancelled their season tickets have to be kicking themselves.

Pre-game thoughts: 1. Start fast and hit early shots. Do not allow PSU to get into an early rhythm. 2. Bando needs to lockdown Pickett and make him turn it over. 3. D-Walk needs to stay out of foul trouble. We can't afford to rely on Oleg and Wilhelm on the road in the B1G.

Even though the crowd size was lackluster, I thought the energy the fans had tonight was very respectable. Players clearly fed off that and never let the buckeyes get a massive run/hotstreak. Fun game to be at, but now lets steal a win on the road.

I'm curious why Memorial won't be approved at the same time. It seems to me that fans already heavily drink at a tailgate right before entering Memorial, whereas PBA doesn't seem to have that kind of culture.

I always get annoyed at comments like this because it appears to be blaming the fan base for the absolutely atrocious basketball I've watched over the last 3 years. We've already been 'quiet' for 3 years and we still have a crappy basketball team. If we become quieter I cannot see how that makes this program better, and in fact I think a sense of apathy could set in even more. It's hard to believe that if we just keep our mouths shut for another two years, don't even request any basic changes or have simple expectations, that its going to magically turn into one of the best basketball programs in the country...

I need to stop watching husker games. We never lose when I happen to take the night off.

Workplace has had a tough time giving away the box seats to employees. We need alcohol in PBA to make this somewhat bearable.

I at least appreciate he didn't rail on Kobe or make some snide remark. Looks like Fred is at least getting the message, which is what I care about.

Lincoln is not big enough for both Matt A and FH. Either Matt A has no idea to assess talent/players that work well together OR Fred Hoiberg just completely botched a well crafted and talented team and we should cut our losses now.

Based on everything I heard during the off-season, this should've been our last problem. I specifically remember FH talking about how hard it's going to be to pick a rotation, because our depth chart was so great and could fill in anywhere.

We just witnessed a Purdue team that is the exact opposite of our beloved cornhuskers. Immense size, every player looking to distribute, rebounding, and clean movement without the ball. Jealousy is not a strong enough word to describe what I'm feeling.

The most Lat Mayen sequence happened. Pass hits him wide open in the hands as he is cutting, he fumbles the ball awkwardly, proceeds to brick a fadeaway shot, and gives up a bucket on the other end! I don't like pounding on a player that much, but at this point if we just talk about him it looks like that's what we are doing.
