How can our coaches recruit the team I'm watching right now and legitimately think to themselves we can compete against the B1G? Our players don't look like they are in the same stratosphere.

Was going to say this exact thing. Being a younger fan myself, that game sticks in my mind as a huge missed opportunity. We qualify for the B1G semi's and we are looking at better seeding, more momentum, and less of a mentally painful defeat when you let them go on a 42-19 run in that second half. If Miles was able to break the curse, I bet we build momentum and his entire recruiting/transfer strategy changes.

Before the season I thought the 'Star City' thing was an interesting marketing strategy. Now I realize that the mentality of this team is just selfish basketball and trying to make it to the next level.

The trajectory is slightly up from Michigan, but that's not a difficult thing to do.
