I also loved Evan Taylor. Last I knew he ironically was dating one of Henry Buchanan’s daughters. Small world in the land of NU hoops...

I went up to the gym tonight. Didn’t warm up. Took 10 free throws. Made 6 of them. Nothing to be proud of but double the accuracy of our team this afternoon. Fellas, I play basketball about 4-5 times per year. I’m in my early 40’s. My arm is sore more than it’s not. It’s all in between the ears. Nebraska male athletes In football and basketball must be drinking from the same well...

Kavas/Cheatham appreciation thread
Faux Mike Peltz replied to jayschool's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
I want to thank both of them for coming to dear ol Nebraska U, and setting the foundation for Coach Hoiberg’s time as head coach. I enjoy watching Cheatham drive and finish acrobatic layups, and find it amusing how many times it appears he gets hammered in the air and no foul is called. Thank you Seniors!! -
Can’t make it on Sunday. Two tickets, 1st row of section 213 $20 for the pair. On stubhub

The numbers he’s putting up are impressive at any level- give him an open three and he’s More than likely gonna hit it. -

Pretty much needed to be there in the first half of the girls game. Hey, I remember going there and less than 100 fans would watch our girls play. No they play in front of a full house!! It will be like this next year as well, MN is loaded. -

Donovan is visiting Kansas on an official visit per sources. KU assistant coach Norm Roberts was in attendance at Millard North...

Well, he went 12-13 from the FT line, so he’s definitely not a good fit in our offense... Only kidding. Towards the end of the game, MN crowd and students chanting “overrated” mercilessly- he steps to the line and both free throws didn’t even hit rim. That impressed me, he wasn’t rattled. Alao, Saint Thomas hit four straight FT’s in the final 20 seconds to preserve the win. I appreciate good FT shooting this year...

If he was shooting close to normal he drops 40+ points on the number one team in the state and mostly division -1 prospects. Letting that settle...man I wish he was still committed.

Whew! What Ana amazing atmosphere and showcase for Nebraska high school hoops. Over 8 colleges in attendance, to observe the 7, yes I said 7 Division 1 prospects playing in the game (4 with committable offers) LNS: Ive personally seen Donovan on fire from outside so I understand why he came out firing. Donovan had some very impressive drives and finishes at the rim tonight on numerous bigger players. Juracek was hitting towards the end- impressive shooting. Kwat is a very good player. I wouldn’t be surprised to read he gets some offers soon, like as in, tomorrow. MN: Hunter is an elite player - we haven’t seen a basketball player like him in a very long time. If he comes to NU- it can’t be overstated how huge of a get that would be. Max- 6-9” player hitting threes. Uh, ok. Stanford is getting a solid player. Jasen Green- Guy can move, is mobile, fluid, can shoot the three, can drive and dunk, basically a Kevin Cross type but a true 6’7” with better athleticism and mobility. Oh yeah, he’s a sophomore!!!! Want him bad. Jadin Johnson- a 6’4” high school point guard that can move like he does?? I think he ends up at UNO or SDSU... Saint Thomas- I think he goes about 6-5 or 6-6. Solid player who should also get some looks at the SDSU/UNO level. I remember going to watch Burke when Jason D and Roy Enright played for them. Both were committed to Nebraska at the time. I remember telling my friend, there will never be a team that produces 2 high major players with offers on it in Nebraska. I was wrong. -
If he heads elsewhere, let it be the Big Twelve and not to a school like Wisconsin. His three point shot fits Wiscy’s offense well and he and Chucky will elevate that teams athleticism by leaps and bounds immediately. Hope he picks KSU and has a great career there.
