I’m so fired of the mentality of this years team and how loose they are with the damn ball. Good teams value it. We do not.

I wish I could just flush it. But a disturbing observation was a general lack of fight, many players looked disinterested, especially when it came to taking care of the ball. We need a true point guard. We don’t have one on the roster right now.

Coach McDermott just got suspended. I’m not sure he survived this anymore....

I’m usually a positive supporter and full of kool aid flows. But this game pissed me off. I’m embarrassed. No fight. And I hate it when players give up. Trevor Lakes seems to be a “miss” pun intended. Shamiel and Banton are on my “will they be here next year” list

Biggest takeaway for me is we must get a true PG next year. Banton is not, I repeat, I don’t care if he’s mother f’n 6-9 with a 7-8 wing span, he is NOT NOT a point guard. Trey is our best option at this point. Possibly Kobe if he comes back. But Kobe has been better off the bench and off the ball as a outside threat. Let’s just get someone who can distribute and make a entry pass to the post and distribute.

Letting Patrick look like Klay Thompson out there, then just jacks threes. I think he needs an attitude adjustment

Would not be surprised if Banton is not on the team next year. Several times on that last stretch when he hoisted those three’s, Hoiberg’s reaction was less than favorable. We have gotten better length wise, getting better athleticism, getting some more height. But my God! Let’s get some guys who have some basketball IQ. Give me a bunch of these Iowa players who can pass and shoot....

I mean, why keep sitting Walker with 2 when we finally put him back out there we are down by so much it won’t matter...

He’s going to stretch the floor and help with spacing a lot. You can’t sag off of him and his release is really quick

This thing is really gathering some steam. At first I thought it was going to blow over with the statements by all- however, the assistant coaches statement was quite telling, saying his focus was to tend to the needs of the players and they are choosing to continue the remainder of the season with Coach Mac on the bench...wow

The ball doesn’t stick with him out there, and I wish he would’ve played more....

Yvan barely played the past couple of games. I think coach Hoiberg is going with the guys he believes will put them in the best position to win. More Thor and Kobe...more Walker and Eduardo, less Yvan...

I wish him all the best. I hope his inner circle can continue to support him and he has a successful career, basketball or otherwise.

Banton is a wild card - just my guess. I don’t see Lat starting. Outside of his somewhat streaky 3 point shooting, he brings very little else to the table offensively and defensively. Would see Wilhelm starting over him
