uneblinstu's postgame chatter: Vol: 10; ed: 12 - vs. Kansas

It was nice not having to hear Rock Jock Jayhawk chant. -
I would find a parking garage and park there as they check the meters up until 6pm. If you get there early enough, there are plenty of garages in the downtown area. The Railyard/Haymarket area has plenty of food/beer options.

What exactly is an in-school suspension technician? Is that basically babysitting the kids that get into trouble? Guess I wouldn't be surprised to see a disgruntled student making these sort of accusations as "pay back". Either way, crappy situation.

Probably because arrest records are public record, regardless if it is a baseless arrest.

Exhibition Game: Nebraska at Mississippi St
dskurz replied to hhcmatt's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
So anyone going that will be streaming via Periscope? -
I guess I missed Sean Callahan's tweet basically asking the same thing. Was someone going to be shown the door if Agau did pick us?
-
My point was that the belief that McVeigh was the last spot and therefore NU didn't have room for Agau seems to contradict that we were still actively recruiting Agau even after McVeigh committed.
-
If McVeigh was the last commit of that recruiting cycle, why does the OWH article about McVeigh's commitment reference Agau still visiting. Or what am I missing? http://www.omaha.com/huskers/foot--australian-shooting-guard-jack-mcveigh-commits-to-huskers/article_b4e33da2-95ed-11e4-8a6e-4fb3cc3c4160.html

We are less than a month out from the new season already? Time sure does fly as I get older.
-
The problem is Nebraska did recruit him pretty heavily. Not sure if NU ever did line up an in-home, but he visited NU a bunch of times unofficially. Not sure how he can say we didn't recruit him. Heck, Miles even went to some of his AAU games in Vegas that I remember reading about.

uneblinstu's Post Game Chatter: Vol 9, Ed 14 - @ Maryland
dskurz replied to uneblinstu's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
I thought the announcers were horrible. On numerous occasions (at least 3 times) they were talking about a Nebraska player and kept on saying "in the last game against Nebraska", umm, think you meant Indiana. Finally caught himself after halftime. Another idiotic statement was saying Nebraska was only down 8 and how best to cut that down while we were actually down 12. Math is hard. -
His sources also told him that Easton Stick is transferring from North Dakota St to Nebraska, so there's that. He is pure comedy.
-
I personally think it's great because to me the issue (pediatric cancer) is more important than the game. You know during the telecast that the shirts will be brought up & maybe more so because of their color. If it get's more people to maybe help become registered, I say go for it.

Rhode Island (6-3) vs. Nebraska (6-4) Game Thread

Not to nitpick, but shouldn't it either be 7-9 FG, 2-2 3ptFG or 78 FG%, 100% 3pt FG% -
This will sound like whining but.......

I thought it was a well officiated game. Not as many tickey tack calls. Granted there were some calls I wish we got, but not all calls are going to be called. Foul calls were even until the end, the difference was we fouled on their shots. They fouled us on the floor.
