Creighton just picked up a crystal ball on 247 for a former 4 star North Carolina transfer who had them in his final 3 out of high school.. Feel like this could be significant

As a program that needs as much help on the court as they do with PR in state off of it, it makes sense. Unfortunately Husker Basketball doesn’t have a treasure chest laying around for NIL like football does. Hopefully they can scrape something together to make it a tough decision for Baylor.

Sounding like Creighton is the favorite and Nebraska’s basketball NIL operation is trying to ground swell some dollars to make a big offer since the basketball NIL operation is separate from football.

Kansas and Kentucky no longer in the discussion for Scheierman. Unfortunately, sounding more and more like Creighton is the favorite.

Don’t think he’ll get the chance to play like Charlie Easley did but I wouldn’t be surprised if the recruiting pitch for the PWO involves saying he could end up like Charlie. Get to develop with high level coaches, practice against high level players, work your ass off, and then maybe a Summit League school comes calling for a transfer later on down the road. Cale and Charlie are somewhat similar players and both didn’t get the offers they wanted out of high school due to questions about measurables and athleticism.

Seems to be trending towards Cale accepting the PWO offer regardless of what happens with Baylor.

Have it on very good authority that Nebraska is very much in the mix and has a good chance with Mr. Scheierman. NIL money is the key here. Time to see if ABM and or the booster base are willing to pony up for basketball and quite literally put their money where their mouth is.

If the NIL money is right, the possibilities are endless.

The divorce isn’t finalized but the parties are definitely separated at this time.

The 2nd time around the rest of Class A had caught up. Lots of the big players in the metro these past couple of years were OPS kids in middle school that went to high school in other districts, including Sallis, Green, and Hepburn.

Looks like SR doesn’t teach at South either. I was just speaking from experience as a graduate of another OPS high school. Guess my high school did things different from south.
