  1. Current leaders of the B12, but 5 of their next 6 are against ranked teams and their non-ranked is a road game at Oklahoma St.
  2. Safe to say we’re in the portion of our schedule where we need to pile wins and avoid losses.
  3. Pretty sure I saw their NIL collective (don’t know if it was whole school or just basketball) was in the ballpark of 200K too. Which… in either situation just isn’t going to get it done in 2024. Edit: Saw it here
  4. While true… not getting to 20+ wins means going 5-7 down the stretch which also means that our NET (as well as other metrics) will reflect that.
  5. A month ahead of last year I think! Let’s get it on!
  6. Also— if anyone is interested in our team sheet outside of Quads…
  7. Saw in tweet— maybe Robin. Did half-court work today, going to try a bit more in shoot around. doing much better than when injury initially happened at Rutgers.
  8. Question for those in the know about SOS’s… does your Non-Con SOS change based on how teams do the remainder of the year. For instance, UND is doing not terrible in the Summit. If they go on and win the dang thing, could that help our Non-con SOS?
  9. Thought this was a good explanation of the NET from some random person on Reddit. At the end of the day, our NET ranking isn’t going to dictate whether we get an NCAA birth or not. The NCAA has left out teams in the 40’s, teams with bad OOC SOS, and teams with bad losses. The NCAA has taken teams in the 60’s and 70’s who have better OOC SOS and wins, no bad losses, and have lots of Q1 wins. Our Purdue win is looking better and better the more I think about it as a statement win. We really could use another (Wisco or Illinois) but we just need to win. We check some good (OOC road win, no bad losses) and bad (OOC SOS) boxes. Safe to say piling up Q1 wins (most will have to come on the road) will be important down the stretch.
  10. It’ll be a good year to take the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th place teams.
  11. This angle looks awful for CC. Fan actually tried to avoid the contact it seems. Then she sells the contact, throws her head like she got an upper cut. Yikes. Also-- get out of here with the takes I've seen saying "well the fans aren't supposed to be there" in reply to this video.
  12. Only 1 of Memphis and FAU should get in. Just my opinion.
  13. I’ve seen him for a few but it always seems like it’s just exhibitions or non con cupcakes.
  14. TBF, Pfeiffer doing B10 games and I see him in the NCAA’s as well. So he must be graded fairly well to get those gigs. I actually think Brooks Wells does a decent job in the games I see him in… but he probably can’t do our games.
  15. Running with what appears to be her head down. Clark actually initiated the contact because I don’t think she was looking where she was going. Honestly, it’s an accident. They happen. I stormed the court in college when KSU beat KU. Ran right into Andrew Wiggins. Dude was chill as can be and said “you’re alright brother” after I apologized. Kansas State, since then, does a great job with their court storms. They have about 20-30+ workers who all hold a rope and block off the teams shaking hands. They then help escort the visitors off the court.
  16. I’ve seen fans calling for.. 1. Assault charges and for the fan to be arrested. 2. The fan to be permanently banned from college basketball games.
  17. KSU also dropped after squeaking past Oklahoma State. They lead the Big 12 conference!! However, they’ve only beaten bottom tier teams outside of Baylor. They now play like 5/6 against ranked teams.
  18. Good thing we got our court storm in because this’ll probably end them forever. Knowing the media’s fascination with her, they’ll run with this story.
  19. The end of court storms happened today because of what happened to everyone’s favorite Iowa player…..
  20. This is a very important point. Honestly, I’m disappointed when we have a possess where he is in and doesn’t touch it. When he has the ball in his hands… 2-3 sets of eyes are on him. He’s a pretty decent passer too, and has found a wide open shooter or guy inside in situations where he was doubled. How NW balks at a switch when it comes to him, I have no idea but that shot at the end was huge!
  21. Spotted in a window in my parents hometown. Enough said!
