DePaul has to be the worst P5 team ever. And that’s sad to see. However road record is part of the overall team sheet. So if I am comparing teams and I see a team has 3 road wins and I look at the bottom and two are DePaul and GTown… while the other only has 2 at KState and Indiana… I know which one I’m picking.

For anyone wondering about best teams left out or worst teams included…

I guess the state athletics association used video a few weeks ago to eject (post game) players for coming off the bench for a scuffle after the game was over. This caused one team to maybe miss the playoffs. But here… can’t use video.

FWIW… Minny is at 76, but UNLV is now at 77. That does involve a lot of bubble teams and would move a lot of Q2/Q3 games to Q1/Q2 for bubble teams. KSU, Ole Miss, and Samford round out the rest of 76-80.

Referees initially ruled this a good basket. Coach of losing team and security guard run in yelling that the basket was no good. Referees huddle and wave off basket. The initial call was correct. This wasn’t just a bang bang bad call either. The ball is through the hoop with a half a second left. Ball is out of shooters hands with 1.3 left. This was an egregiously bad mistake. In a state tournament type game to boot.

Predictive metrics are so weird. Wake Forest has lost 3 in a row to Notre Dame, VA Tech, and Ga Tech and is still ahead of us in Pom and BPI. We dropped 2 spots in BPI because (checks notes) Va Tech and Northwestern hopped us?
