    Doing something I don't do very often. I'm turning a Husker game off and going to bed. Figure it the F out tomorrow fellas. Or we'll be 2 and BBQ in Omaha. We're lucky we're basically a shoe in for Regionals... because we don't look like a regionals team.

    It's only the 5th inning and the announcers are so bored out of their minds, they are talking about situations where they would charge the mound.

    9-0 is completely unacceptable. It's the post season tournament. Win the game of the day and worry about the next game AFTER you win.

    6-0. What a joke. They have like 10 hits and we can barely make contact. Do we even have 1 hit?

    I keep saying-- we're not built for things like the B1G tournament and Regionals. Supers... sure. 3 games series we can probably do. But our hitting is not going to do well in big tournament play.

    It's early and we're only down 2-0. However, if we go loss, loss... our #2 guy won't even have a chance to pitch....

    You’ve gotta be ok with this as a Husker player/coach though. Crowd should be loud and proud vs a 2 PM game.

    Could also be the Mast news combined with the portal. Of course losing ANOTHER returning starter doesn't help.

    What sucks too is that if we hadn't flubbed up all those points early, we could have maybe made it through a rough stretch like this.

    You can bet that if we make it to Sunday... with it being memorial day weekend... I'll be doing everything in my power to get the Mrs. to go to Omaha with me and the kiddos.

    This can't be said enough. Even I go through a lull after baseball season and prior to football season/early basketball season.

    I know we are upset with how we did in the midweek. However, credit where it’s due… taking care of business on the weekend was refreshing this year.

    2 seed means afternoon games both Tuesday and Thursday (should we win Tuesday)

    Our inability to win slugfests doesn’t bode well for post season.

    What sucks about Maryland is we now only have 1 team (Illinois) who will be a Q1 neutral site game. So can't boost that metric much in Omaha. And even then, the Illini are 1 bad loss away from a Q2 neutral site game.

    Unknown what MSU does today. Nothing to play for, so it could be a pack it in game or they could rally as this ends their season.
