https://www.google.com/amp/amp.timeinc.net/si/extra-mustard/2017/02/13/zion-williamson-high-school-basketball-360-windmill-dunk-video%3Fsource%3Ddam Yep, this kid is unreal...... he currently doesn't have any offers from Duke, Kentucky or Kansas according to the ESPN recruiting site. "So you're telling me there's a chance!" ?

Those refs had no clue where they even were

At what point do you say OK, we are not going to get beat with the 3 ball? We defend it terribly, I know. We don't rotate or close out anywhere near quick enough. I know that we are one of the worst teams in the Big Ten at defending the 3 point shot, if not the worst! End of the game situation, up by 2. Why are we not just playing straight up man to man and taking our chances. The one way that we can get beat, we leave it wide open. Why? -
Wisconsin (20-3) vs. Nebraska (10-13) Game Thread

Bronson banks in a 3 ball. Hayes hits a 3 with 2 sec left on the short clock. When are things going to go our way? 22 turnovers didn't help anything! -

Cheese heads 68 1/2 Skers 68 With our luck this year.......this wouldn't surprise me!??? -
I'm sure this is on a thread somewhere else, but does anyone know Webster's health status? I know he was hobbled a little bit with what appeared to be ankle injury at the end of the Purdue game!
-
I wouldn't call you crazy. I agree with you. Just imagine "what if" (record wise) had Morrow not gone down the last 4 games. It's not unreasonable to think that we win our fair share of these last 10 games with him healthy! Purdue, Wisconsin? I don't think we win either of those regardless. But the rest of them, he is a difference maker!

With every loss, this thread will get a fresh coat of paint! The idea of letting coach go after this season is just nonsense to me. But with each loss, his detractors camp will strengthen. Let's just get off the snide, start trending upwards and this thread might actually get a Birthday!

uneblinstu's Post Game Chatter: Vol 9, Ed 19 - @ Rutgers
Lifetimesker replied to uneblinstu's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
Up by five with a 1:40 left in the game. You need to close this game out. Jacobson misses the front end of a 1and1. Webster dribbles the ball off his foot in our last meaningful possession of the game. Anything that could go wrong for us in the final minutes.....DID! I don't know how many more of these games I can take! -

Bad news...Ed Morrow Jr. Sidelined
Lifetimesker replied to Bugeaters1's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
I agree 100% Norm. I am having a hard time seeing where other players can shift and take on different roles that could possibly fill the void that Ed leaves in the middle. But, I'm optimistic that by Saturday, coach will have something figured out! ? -
It just seems that every time this program is delt a blow (ala AWIII, Anton), something good will happen like an improbable start to the conference, winning 2 on the road, and now Cope! I believe Coach Miles is just slowly adding key pieces here and there. Whether that's coaching staff or kids on the roster. My heart tells me that soon, this whole thing is going to come together and it's going to be really cool to watch!

It does as they are a conference foe. How about a good B10 opponent? Illinois, Sparty maybe? -

Can anyone remember the last time we blew out a conference opponent at home? I mean really blew the doors off of them. I feel like we are due for this right? -

This win means so much more than in just the win/loss column. This team is gaining big time confidence and momentum that no amount of money can buy. Super excited for these kids right now! -

Nebraska (6-6) vs. Indiana (10-2) Game Thread

I have a confession to make. I went trolling around on some Indiana message boards, yes, the same thing I would complain about someone doing here! However, the general consensus seems to be that we were essentially standing on our heads tonight. I'm not buying that. We did shoot 50% from behind the arc, and 48% from the field, but I wouldn't call that a standing on your head type of performance! Good performance yes, but I don't feel that we shot lights out tonight. We did other good things to keep us in this game. Thoughts?
