  1. Somewhat of a monumental day for Nebrasketball NBAers. We will have THREE former players on NBA rosters tonight. https://huskers.com/news/2024/10/22/three-huskers-on-opening-night-rosters I believe this is the most players we've had in the league concurrently since the 1998-99 season when we had Eric Piatkowski, Erick Strickland, Mikki Moore, and Tyronn Lue cashing NBA checks.
  2. https://www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/news/college-basketball-rankings-cbs-sports-top-100-and-1-best-teams-for-the-2024-25-season/ I'm a bit late posting this, but CBS Sports did a ranking of the Top 100 and 1 teams in 2024-25... and we were the "and 1".
  3. Roby's new Bundisliga team (ratiopharm Ulm) was in Portland last night to play the Nebraska Trailblazers: Box score for Dalano and Bryce:
  4. Probably won't last very long, but pretty cool seeing TWO Huskers in the Blazers box score...even if it is just preseason Dalano had his club option picked up for this season and will be an unrestricted free agent after this season. Rayan Rupert has roughly the same cap hit as Bryce this year and has a club option next year.
  5. There’s only audio. Should be available on Huskers.com or the Nebraska mobile app.
  6. Also was wearing black Nike shorts, a plain white tee, white Nike socks, and some white Nike AF1s. Looked like he desperately wanted to be the yin to Derrick White's yang or something Definitely was not repping the Big Red...
  7. Just wanted to provide some further information here. It would seem that Baylor only received his pregame sideline pass because he was a guest of Derrick White (who was a guest of the Colorado staff). You can see clearly on their passes that Derrick got the invite and Benedict Arnold was merely his guest:
  8. Half the time the cameraman can't even rotate to cover him, let alone the defenders.
  9. I spy a bandaged eyebrow on Janowski, and Frager with a taped wrist and black eye
  10. Don't short change coach! He was 6' 5" a couple decades ago. No matter what height this kid is, he's still going to be a problem for the opposing team.
  11. Quentin will be on an official visit to Lincoln this Friday along with fellow Top 150 recruit, Tommy Ahneman. Quentin's recent tour of schools is as follows: September 5 - New Mexico September 12 - Boise State (not sure if it happened, he didn't post about it on X ) September 20 - Nebraska September 28 - UC Santa Barbara October 4 - UNLV Not sure how much faith I'd place in this given he hasn't even setup OVs to three of these schools, but the most recent On3 predictions have him trending towards one of the following: Wichita State (30.8%) TCU (26.9%) Nebraska (23.1%) Wisconsin-Green Bay (19.2%) Seems like a 4-star, top 150 recruit should have a little stronger offer list than this? I would think New Mexico or UNLV are the teams we are actually battling for his services, but who knows?
  12. Tommy will be on an official visit to Lincoln this Friday along with fellow Top 150 recruit, Quentin Rhymes. Tommy's recent tour of schools is as follows: September 13 - Iowa September 20 - Nebraska September 28 - Notre Dame October 5 - Minnesota Most recent On3 predictions have him trending towards either Minnesota (32.3%) or Nebraska (28.2%).
  13. Saw this was already available at a lot of retailers already, must have a fairly wide distribution. Given all the misses, I honestly don't mind if we don't get an alternate jersey. But $150 for this seems a bit ridiculous. Adidas could've at least compensated Frank so that they could've added his name on the back of this thing. Nebraska's jerseys from that era didn't have player names on the back, but they also didn't have the block N logo that this thing has (or the Adidas logos).
  14. Sammy G with the heel turn
  15. The eighth offer is the offer you can't refuse
  16. The two unsportsmanlike fouls against Rui Hachimura need to be investigated. A light body bump on a guard going through the lane and grabbing Gobert's arm to prevent a layup...both looked like common fouls. First foul was called with 3:46 left in the 3Q after Japan went up 62-60. Rui scored eight more points in the next four minutes and was ejected early in the 4Q. He hit threes on back-to-back possessions less than 30 seconds apart to start the 4Q and was ejected on the next play. Rui was 10-16 with 24 points before getting ejected. Insane.
  17. https://huskers.com/news/2024/7/16/mcveigh-signs-contract-with-houston-rockets
  18. Jack McTrey came off the bench and went 4-9 on FGs (sadly 0-2 on 3PTs) and 1-2 on FTs to drop 9 points on Team USA in a mere 11 minutes of action. How the hell did Joe Ingles get a 1 year/$3.3MM contract but this guy can't get a look?
  19. If LeBron ever retires, he should spend his twilight years captaining Team USA's 3x3 squad. If he can compete at the highest level in the NBA into his early 40s, I feel like he could easily dominate 3x3 into his late 60s. Just need Gatorade to develop a Metamucil blend for him and he'll be dropping 30 REGULARLY if you know what I mean...
  20. If not, then at least he just had one hell of an audition for the Shanghai Sharks...
  21. And Trevon is even longer than Roby. I just read that he has a 7' 4" wingspan...basically the same body geometry as Kevin Durant. In most of those block highlights he isn't even in good position and he reaches across his body with his wrong arm. But he still blocks the shot because he's so damn lengthy.
  22. The death toll from the Catholic Crusades is estimated at 1.7 million people. Admittedly I'm not the best with etiquette, but that may warrant an apology.
  23. If Admiral Ted Carter’s call sign was “Slapshot” can we please make Keisei’s “Bangarang”?
  24. Per the article, Kyle says he plans on making a decision by the end of this month. Right after visiting Lincoln (a second time)
