  1. Unless she is going to walk-on, we don't need her. We have enough mid-major transfers.
  2. We're no 1, be loud, be proud
  3. Of course there will defections. There are always transfers after a coaching change. Who will defect or transfer is the interesting part.
  4. Bugs, you're fighting a losing battle but I agree with you. Slow girls from little bitty schools very seldom pan out.
  5. Also for whatever it's worth, it did not look like Nebraska was recruiting her.
  6. She’s a junior and will be part of the Huskers’ 2018 class
  7. so, how many stars?, who else recruited her? is she athletic enough to keep up with the jets Maryland and Ohio State put on the floor?
  8. I don't have any respect for someone who cannot correctly spell names of the team members. That is basic. If you are not sure, look it up, as I did.
  9. Well I was told that when Kathleen Doyle de-committed that Rylie was to go on scholarship. Coaches reneged I guess
  10. I am under the impression the Rylie Casio-Jensen is receiving a scholarship. I don't know who Riley C.J. is.
  11. And Colorado State for that matter.
  12. Since none of you bright boys could come close to predicting this year's starting lineup a couple of months ago, it's funny you are trying to predict next years.
  13. Maybe point wise but 8 rebounds is not exactly a no-show.
  14. Proudparent - I agree that the main difference between mid-major kids and Big 10 kids is size (and speed). All the heart in the world won't let a mid-major player keep up with Kelsie Michell for Ohio State or most all of the Maryland players. And just because they are undersized does not mean they automatically have more heart. Emily Wood has as much heart, brains and ambition as anyone on the team. But she has a handicap, her size, and because of that she is just not going to be major player in the Big 10. Now since two of you have thrown out the 2-3 year window, I have a question. What will be acceptable as a record after two years, after three years?
  15. > It just won't be rebuilt in one or even two years. Connie Yori year one 8-20 Overall, 1-15 Big 12/12th had to recruit sorority girls to fill out team. Connie Yori year two 2004 Postseason WNIT 2nd round (18-12 Overall, 7-9 Big 12/7th) Connie Yori year three 2005 Postseason WNIT 2nd round (18-14 Overall 8-8 Big 12/6th) It can be done, is Coach Williams up to it. Went back to see who Coach Yori recruited in years two and three. Chelsey Aubry, Kiara Hardy & Danielle Page were the main ones. The two transfers will help next year, but mid-major transfers will not cut it in the Big 10 for long.
  16. And we do not defend the 3, do not make good passes, turn the ball over, have no offensive rhythm, cannot rebound. Other than that, not bad
  17. I want to comment on the photo at the top of this thread. If you notice, Woody is already being fouled by the Rutger's player. Right after this the Rutger's play absolutely floored Woody within 5 feet of the blond ref. She stared at them, swallowed her whistle and blithely trotted up the floor to a chorus of nasty comments for the fans on that side of the arena. If a ref cannot see that as a foul, I don't know what they see. rant over.
  18. Welcome, new posters are always needed.
  19. You want to see our football coach at point guard. Not enough hair and I think he has used all of his eligibility.
  20. And we will still lose to Creighton by 40 and I dislike Creighton. It just seems to be of fact of life that Creighton owns NU.
  21. i know u all hate Kearney but he may be right
  22. The way we are playing right now, 5 may be tough, let alone 10. And I agree with the comment above, right now Coach Williams, in her press conference, looks and acts like a defeated person.
  23. Wife not feeling well. Making use of BTN Plus
  24. As usual against good competition, Shepard is missing in action. 1-10 shooting, 2 rebounds
  25. This teams lack of conditioning is really showing in this game. Iowa is running us out of the arena.
