I think it is a custom more than anything. The reason for Nebraska red last night was there was a red out in the arena. Nebraska could wear red because Penn St blue did not clash.

Markowski was class a, Meyer was class c. With the age difference and class difference it was doubtful. Meyer really needs to give up VB and and work on becoming an Olympic thrower. With Cook recruiting over her and the returnees it will be tough to see much floor time.

Why do you say that. The loser attitude of Nebraskans. If you are good you will never play at the local U. Markowski (local) on her way to Big 10 freshman of year. Weidner (small town local) playing substantial minutes. Plays with Coaches kid on elite team. I like our chances. Iowa got Caitlen Clark why can't get Prince.

Iowa team reflects their coach, they whine a lot. I would like Clarks offensive talent on our team. I would still hate her attitude.

Watched NW take it to Iowa last night. At Iowa even. Caitlin Clark is still a good offense player but defense is an after thought. .

The coaches did not have a pre-game chat as they usually do plus the Michigan danced on the Husker logo. Let's just say these two teams are not the best of friends.

The media has been told not to refer to them as the Lady Huskers. Of course the media are idiots as some of you believe. Sam M of the World Herald, who is the best women's columnist, never refers to them as Lady Huskers

Do you refer to men's team as the gentleman huskers. They have not been the Lady Huskers for thirty years. They are the Huskers

I'm sure Whalen can recruit on name recognition, but she is proving to be a very average coach. But she is still new at coaching.
