    I think it's important not to play in the 11/14 or 12/13 game on the first day. Secure a 10 seed and play 7, 2, 3 and 1 on consecutive days. Purdue is the most problematic matchup, but everyone else isn't that much better — if at all — than a healthy Husker team.

    I watch the game streaming, so it's always on delay, but I cheat by looking at ESPN.Com to get updates before I watch the action. Both Wednesday night and today ESPN.Com announced a final in Nebraska's favor. Crap.

    Don't underestimate Rutgers' motivation in this second half (and the entire game, for that matter). They know their chances at conference wins are few and far between. This is one the team and their fans have probably circled as a game they need to win — against a fragile team playing without its strongest inside presence. They're not going to wilt.
