Bugeaters1 Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 Is anyone listening to the game? Yori is giving the Refs hell. Quote
Bugeaters1 Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 Welp on to the Becks and there was a Kalenta sighting. Quote
Bugeaters1 Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 Well Maryland didn't run away with the game until late, and it got some of the young kids some good time on the court. Quote
Cazzie22 Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 Maryland's physical strength overwhelmed NU. Good effort by the Huskers, need a great effort Thursday to beat Iowa. Quote

Cazzie22 Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 I agree, Shephard might be the first true power player we have had. Griffin was good but only 6'2, she had trouble against the big athletic posts. Watching Texas and Baylor today. Cady and Sample would have a tough time dealing with the size and quickness of those two teams. I hope we can win out and maybe land a home court for the NCAA...win out in the regular season...Maryland is winning the tournament. Quote
redsteve Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 Maybe it's just me...but I thought our poor shooting was a ...big...difference in the game. We had lots of decent looks but few points. I haven't seen stats ...did we even shoot 30% ? And yes......they out muscled us about 25 lbs per player...particularly inside....they filled the lane on defense, and let us hang ourselves out to dry shooting from the outside. Sorry, I've worn out the shooting thing.....it was driving me nutso during the game Quote

And then the ball seemed to find Maryland for easy second shots. Quote

Fastbreaker Posted February 9, 2015 Report Posted February 9, 2015 The call on Havers was the game changer IMHO. Coach agreed on her post-game show. She said she came close to getting 'T' up. Quote
