Psu wins 79 75 at Northwestern in a thriller at the of the game. PSU made their free throws where Nebraska couldn't. Northwestern missed two shots at the end of the game to tie it to maybe get it into ot but couldn't get it done.

Yep.  The Lions led by as many as 20 late in the first half, but the 'Cats made a great rally throughout the second half, even taking a 4-point lead at 70-66.  But, a three by Penn State got the margin to within 1, and the charity stripe was more charitable to PSU.

 

That's somewhat excruciating as a Northwestern fan, of course...
