49r Posted July 26, 2013 Report Posted July 26, 2013 So I just called the ticket office and luckily I still have my tickets. The lady said that invoices would probably be sent out in September after the schedule is finalized. So, it makes me think back to my original thought....If people decide not to pay the invoices there will be tickets opening up thus not truly causing a sellout as of yet. If there's a wait list though, I would imagine that the sellout is still pretty safely gonna happen. Quote

If people are dumb enough not to pay their invoice, the tickets will be gobbled up. Quote
HB Posted July 26, 2013 Report Posted July 26, 2013 I'm hoping major portions of the crowd choose to hang out at Barry's after most games instead of feeling like they have to leave the PBA early in droves to beat the traffic. I'm hoping even more that major portions of the crowd choose to hang out at Barry's BEFORE most games instead of feeling like they have to quietly sit on their hands all game. Loosen 'em up a bit. Now, don't get me wrong. If you drink, you should drink responsibly. Which means drink enough to get you to stand and cheer but not so much that you lose your balance, fall over on top of me and pass out. Y'know, kind of a happy medium. Somewhere around .07. Then by the time you leave the PBA, your BAC should be AOK. Norm, you know I will stay to the end of all games, and then hang out at a bar while the lots clear...but I think those who HATE people leaving early are going to really have a tough time with the new venue. There is no where for cars in the lots and garages to go, and it will be slow. Nebraskans just don't have the patience for that. Weeknight games will be the worst. Be ready for it--people who take advantage of the chance to hang out in the Haymarket area will be the exception rather than the rule, and even more people will leave before the end of the game than they did in Devaney.
