HuskerFever Posted October 14, 2012 Report Posted October 14, 2012 I know this is way off topic, but it's definitely worth checking out. Felix Baumgartner jumped from the edge of space this afternoon and went into free fall from about 125,000 feet into Earth's orbit. He broke the sound barrier reaching a speed of mach 1.2. Truly some amazing stuff. Here's a look at the view just before the jump: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eE83vIBCllk "The whole world is watching now. I wish you could see what I can see. Sometimes you have to be up really high to see how small you are. I'm going home now." (Visit http://www.redbullstratos.com for more information on the project). Quote
