Couldn't have started a weekend series much better than that - our starter goes 6 innings and dominates - our hitters see almost 200 pitches and 6 pitchers with a double header on deck. 

 

A road sweep is always difficult but we set ourselves up to go get one.

We have the pitching, but I don't know if the offense will be able to help consistently enough.  4 baserunners, with 2 hit batters among them.  11 k's again thru 8 innings. Our strikeout totals on the season by game.  10, 15, 9, 10 and 10.

 

We do not have enough pop to not put the ball in play.

We scored a run, but 2 more strikeouts.  Lose 4 - 1.  We need to find hitters who are going to put the ball in play.  Otherwise,  this is going to be a long year.  We are averaging 11.17 strikeouts a game.  Not good.

With our bats, those 3 runs might be enough for Louisiana.

We are in full meltdown mode.  If I were Louisiana,  just keep bunting until we make a play.

We can't even hit a junkball pitcher, who can't throw faster than 85.

A crazy thought.  Maybe we should try bunting.  Louisiana committed 4 errors in the 1st game.  It's wet.  They did it and it rattled our pitcher.  Might have the same effect.  We have 1 hard hit ball in 12 innings.
