I have done some reseaech in comparig Caitlyn to Pete Maravich,  Caitlyn has played more than 50 games more than Maravich.  Freshmen could not play varsity basketball when Maravich was in school.  There was no 3 point shot.  Free throws were different; not two shots, but one or one-and-one.  When you boil down what can be compared,  Pete scored over 42 points per game compared to Caitlyn's 31+.  It appears our present media is comparing apples to oranges when you look at the differences in the game today versus 50 years ago.
