Donkey Posted March 23, 2017 Report Posted March 23, 2017 http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/18984268/georgetown-hoyas-parting-ways-john-thompson-iii Unfortunate situation here. Thompson is a good coach but player development was uneven. Projects like Hibbert did well while higher rated guys transferred. There is a lot of talent in the area. It will be interesting to see who gets the job. Quote
Chuck Taylor Posted March 24, 2017 Report Posted March 24, 2017 Pretty good record with a FF, but I thought his demise came with the rules changes a few years ago. His teams relied on physical play and scored off their defense. Shaka Smart might be having the same problem at Texas. Just a thought that I'd prefer not be refuted with actual evidence.
