OT Georgetown fires Thompson

Unfortunate situation here. Thompson is a good coach but player development was uneven. Projects like Hibbert did well while higher rated guys  transferred. There is a lot of talent in the area. It will be interesting to see who gets the job.

Pretty good record with a FF, but I thought his demise came with the rules changes a few years ago. His teams relied on physical play and scored off their defense. Shaka Smart might be having the same problem at Texas.

 

Just a thought that I'd prefer not be refuted with actual evidence.
