ajb5856 Posted January 27, 2017 Report Posted January 27, 2017 Extremely frustrated but can you guys imagine the positivity right now if we sat at 5-3 instead of 3-5? We are two plays, two brief moments away from that. And yet here we are in a very negative place. It would be let's just hold on, squeak a couple more out until Ed gets back, and then make our push for the tournament. Instead it's a question of whether the team folds and packs it in or if they are able to fight on and save the coaching staff. Do we have any more left or is this it? How demoralizing were those two last second Ls? The fight of them team would be quite a bit different right now at 5-3. Quote
huskerbaseball13 Posted January 27, 2017 Report Posted January 27, 2017 5-3 and our goals for the year would still be intact. Not to say we can't make it to the postseason sitting at 3-5 right now but our chances of going .500 in conference at 3-5 is probably not great. Half of the teams in the country can play the what if game...hell, we are a couple bounces away from being 0-8 in the conference and maybe on our way to the worst season in Nebrasketball history.
