Playing a 3pt threat like Indiana on the road with a NBA player running center is essentially a 10-20 point loss for last year's team (Lost by 16 last year at Assembly Hall). Have we figured out how to defend against this kind of team where we can put ourselves in a position to win? Do we even have the offense if this is the case? Nebrasketball will spend a lot of time worrying about future NBA center Thomas Bryant as well as dead-eye shooters in James Blackmon and Robert Johnson but keep tabs on how Pitt transfer Josh Newkirk handles the PG position that was owned by Yogi Ferrell for four years. Expect the Huskers to attempt to minimize help the same way they did holding Creighton to 77 and making Newkirk beat them at the rim. What sorts of lineups will you see how of Nebraska tonight with Gill out for the year and a game after seeing Jeriah Horne drop 18? The addition of Evan Taylor was for guard depth in case something happened to Watson but with McVeigh slumping we've been running a lot of 3 guard rotations? Can we continue to do so with only 3 guards? Which of your "wings" do you trust to cover the other team's 2 guard? Will we see any new lineups tonight? While the Huskers get to play in a student-break filled Assembly Hall against an Indiana team that has played a lot of cream puffs, Indiana has almost all the advantages tonight. If there is some sort of switch that this Nebraska basketball team pulls and all of a sudden starts to click, when might it happen? Prediction: Indiana 82 - Nebraska 65 View full article atskooc 1 Quote
