I've said all along that Mr. Roby will bring an interesting and multi-faceted talents to Lincoln.  I will not be shocked at all to see him running the offense on occasion.

I hope Zay has more realistic perspective on his likely contributions his freshman season than most of us fans do.

 

I think half of us have him either All-American or Hall of Fame at the end of his first season.

 

I'm more tempered in my expectations and realize those things won't come until probably season #2.

Agreed. I think he will have a typical freshman season: some games where he shines and other games where he disappears for a little bit.

I think I have him slotted in for 18 minutes, 6 pts, 3 reb, and 2 asst per game.

I honestly feel like it'll go along the lines of his high school career

there in lincoln

Theres alot of the same storylines goin on.

They had some good players come in the year before him,

It was considered a football school mostly, program hadn't won in over 20 yrs empty stands lol it was bad

(Ik its not empty there)

but with alot of under classmen i think they started 3 sophmores and 2 freshmen they did ok just had some learning to do.

His freshman yr of highschool was bad as a team they lost alot. They showed flashes though just had alot of bad breaks and people quit the team that were kinda good and

actually 1 did transfer sooo crazy the similarities now that i look back at it.

Sophomore yr big imrovement won a regional and well that summer he got offered

Since then he

(along with teammates of course) have gone on to win conference hopefully it happens right away but im thinking we're a yr away.

There gonna suprise and scare some teams along the way though itll be fun to watch.
