Hake She really has improved since she got here. Pure hard work has gotten her there. She's pretty solid overall, just using the tools she has. Has learned the college game. And the Kendall's seemed to have broken out finally. They both have put in good minutes this year. And yes, some of the next several games could be ugly.

Tarleton just seemed to play with more intensity. Not real talented, but played with focus and kept within their capabilities. Pretty well coached and organized. Just not great shooters or rebounders. Our free throw consistency was a big part of the difference. And has been said our low floor shooting percentage was very concerning. We'll struggle in the B1G, if shooting near 30%. Inconsistent performances from game to game, continue to be the MO for now. Hope we can turn the page during conference play. Hargrove gets my vote for more play,...lots more. Has natural talent and excellent skills. Maybe can be the replacement for Potts this year??

Getting to like Rimdal more and more. She knows what she's doing. Makes few mistakes. Good awareness of where everyone is on the floor. makes assists....and to boot, she can shoot threes and drive to basket. Third best scorer on team, and as a sub. Get's rebounds too. You might think I'm crazy, but she reminds me more and more (as a player) of Jazz Shelly.

Going to be an interesting women's basketball season as we progress. The best seems to change week to week. Several good teams in upper echelon of 8 or 10. JuJu is the real deal though.

Actually have thought it is worth a try before. Definitely worth a try. Bozan seems to have played the 4 in her previous play. We might be a lot more consistent with them in together. The whole team just was somewhere else the first half. Not much intensity. We've played quite a few games now...shouldn't see all the chaos of last night. We should be s lot more organized and focused, by now. Watched some of So Cal and Cal Baptist (I think it was). USC is good. Very strong and lots of length. Not just Ju Ju Watkins (40 pts) (who is awesome) but the supporting cast is formidable. Easily top team team....at least last night they were. Yes, on to the next one.

Pretty sure Bozan was supposed to have 6-5 stats when she first signed up. She's seems to be getting up to speed with USA college ball. Good background in Europe. Has the typical old school European ball skills, ...less one on one type play like the US is sometimes. With her size... hope the staff can get her used to crashing the boards and adding up the rebounds. But she's only a freshman, so will develop and adapt. Glad she's on our squad.

Watched part of it. UCLA could do no wrong. They have an active 6-7 big that pretty much had her way on the boards. Last night UCLA was the better team, by quite a bit. They were ahead by 20 a lot of the time.

Watched a couple of YouTube replays of the game. After seeing the game as opposed to hearing it, the obvious thing that did us in was poor perimeter defense. It has done us in for several years, and we don't seem to react with defensive schemes that slows them down. Ugh ! Volleyball This ain't a volleyball forum, but if your a NU sports fan this YouTube video is very insightful. I'm a Husker fan, no matter the sport. Watch if you want.

Tonight Markowski became the 6th Husker to record 1,000 rebounds. And had another double-double withy 26pts and 12 rebounds. Prince had a great game with 20pts and 6 rebounds. But the supporting cast just had issues providing the 3rd needed scoring effort (and rebounds) to make up for loss of Potts. Yes, to be expected probably. Overall a great effort from Nebraska.
