Benny Parker - didn't figure he would play a lot and didn't figure when it was clear he didn't fit in that he would stick around. Kid stuck around and I would love to have a Benny on the team again. Not a superstar by any stretch, but would be a great backup to give folks a rest.
Evan Taylor would be a good pick too.
Sounds like KD is the smart one. Personally, I dislike that the business has come to superstars (all of them) jumping from team to team. I know why they do it and I know it's about the money doesn't mean I have to like it.
You will think that if your guy Lebron changes (the second time he will have bailed on his team) teams again instead of staying and making Cleveland better he is the same unless he goes to a team that is not loaded which we all know he will not do. As Royalfan stated, blame the way the NBA allows teams to set up their payroll which allows for teams to load up.
Think his point is players today get away with things that allow them to do things that players in the day of Wilt, Russell and others could not do because the rules were actually called as written.
I am glad he tried to recruit the state, think all of the guys that are head coach in Lincoln should. But looking at that list, all were role type players that you have to have, just not guys that are going to carry a team.
