    Weidner, Hake and Prince picked up the defensive pressure which led to a hard earned victory.

    Just gave up a 9-0 run. We can’t make a bucket around the rim. Penn St and their pressure is bothering us. I shudder to think what Ohio St’s press will do to us. Glad Amy finally took a timeout.

    Came alive a little bit and lead by 13. Trying for a last shot Britt passes to Penn St and gives up a layup. Petrie had played a nice first part of the quarter and, of course, is subbed out.

    30-25 at half. This is disheartening to watch such silly, incompetent play. Petrie did make a nice post move against their big and Britt has hit a couple of shots but the number of missed layups is amazing.

    What kind of inbounds play was that? We are playing like a bottom 25 team. We cannot feed the post, we are content to keep jacking up threes. With their big girl out we need to go inside. Somebody needs to light a fire under this team

    Very bad basketball by both teams. Other than Rimdal’s drive to the basket the 2nd unit was content to jack up threes. Alexis has taken a couple of miserable shots and now Penn St is back to within 4. I am disgusted by the lack of offensive play.

    Today’s game is extremely important to the psyche of the team. Need to get some confidence back. May not be much of a crowd.

    We have a tough team. A big win when Connor couldn’t make a shot. To be fair, the Bruins also shot poorly. Nothing is going to be easy for us but we should not be easy for any team we play IF we can take that defense in the road.

    Offense has went stagnant.

    If we can take care of the ball the rest of the way it should be a victory. Keep getting Brice to the line.

    Baskets are a rare commodity. It looks like it could be tight to the end. If one team gets hot then the game may get out of reach.

    We didn’t shoot well because we couldn’t get good looks at the basket.

    First time seeing Michigan. They are tall and can run the floor. Hanging with the Bruins in the third quarter.

    Hope we can bounce back against Penn St. If we can match up athletically we can compete. We were outclassed today.

    Halfway through the 4th quarter and we haven’t scored.

    Maryland and Ohio St will be challenges for USC and UCLA. Otherwise they will be fine. We have no excuse, we had three days between games and no classes.

    It got away. USC is putting so much pressure on us that we can’t get a good look at the basket. I hope we keep competing in the 4th or we will really get lit up.

    We are having a terrible time getting a decent shot in half court. I don’t consider threes by Markowski and Petrie to be decent shots. Bad turnovers continue to hurt us. I do like our effort.

    We are playing with much more effort and determination today. We blew a lead of five but need to hang in until half.
