Interesting tidbits here. Definitely sounds like Ole Miss or Nebraska. He mentions Ole Miss being closer to home and that they are recruiting to run the point which is what he wants to play. I think I read that Miles had a vision for him as a combo guard who would play the 2 primarily but would also get time at PG. It will be interesting to see what plays out.

I wonder which one or if both are on the commitment watch. Since theres no rule on over signing would we possible take both guards and accept the big guys commitment too if he chose to be +2 at the moment? That would really be +1 assuming they know something about Fuller and then someone else would have to transfer.

A shooter! This is our first non-transfer SG since Nate Hawkins if we're considering him a SG. He is a shooter. Will play the 2 or 3 spot but has the ability to guard the opposing 3.

He came, his visit went well, he had a good time, and then he went home. The coaching staff likes where they sit with Akenten. I think Robin was busy with other things this weekend like welcoming a new child.

Way before he caught lightning in a bottle for a 6 week period. Oh well...another losing season coming up.I love how people downplay the NCAA tournament appearance with the "lightning in a bottle" argument and act as though it didn't count or was a bad thing. Of course it was lightning in a bottle, it resulted in a tourney appearance we won recruiting battles as a result.I've said this before but this needed to be a slow build for Miles. He got lucky with some transfers right away but then the same transfers bit him in the ass the next year. 14-15 was a complete disaster but anybody with eyes could see progression and promise with the freshman class during the 15-16 season. Now here we are heading into 16-17 with Miles' first legit recruiting class (done plugging holes) heading into their sophomore year. He's added more pieces in Roby, Horne, Gill, and Tshimanga (the first legit big man) and now there's plenty of people calling for Miles' head? I very much doubt that this year will be another losing season.
