I think the refs are giving credit for the Wisky defense of old. They need to realize that they aren't at that level anymore. It's OK to blow the whistle.

Not trying to be pessimistic, but let's say we lose today. What's better for us, getting the four seed and a bye before playing a pretty good team or a great shot at an extra victory over a weak opponent in the B1G opener? -
If I were a 1 seed, I'd want no part of Iowa in a potential second (OK, third) round game.
