I talked to a person close to Oliver who said he's "taking a really hard look at Nebraska."

At this point last year Tai was averaging 27 minutes per game and Benny was averaging 13 per game. How did that work out for Tai? Now Benny is getting more than 30 minutes a game and I don't know if you have noticed...but Tai's minutes are going down. I don't know if Fuller is any better than Tai...but I don't think it's as simple as saying...welp...Tai is getting more minutes so obviously he's a better option. Unfortunately, neither is a real good option right now.

Interesting. I wonder if it was a first come, first serve type of offer between McVeigh and Agau because we no longer have the room.

The recruiting class is helping make up for this disappointing season. Thank goodness. Still need a big. We see what disappointing seasons look like when you have Leslee and Moses on the bench with injuries. They're both seniors, though, and neither will be back next year. So, in order not to have a disappointing season next year, we have to find someone who can do what they weren't able to do this year. The pickins appear to be slim. We definitely need a big, but I have hope that Hammond can be a 15-18 minute player next year. I'd love a senior transfer or a juco big man, but that'd be the cherry on top of a stellar class.

How many times does he need to visit before he knows if Nebraska is for him this time around? Pure guess, but it sure seems like he's going to commit tomorrow.

I'd hate to see Hammond go. While he's clearly not ready, he looks like he has pretty good movement skills for a big, so that's something to build off of. As for Tai, if he left I don't think it'd bother me at all. Hopefully he turns it around and makes me eat crow.

Anyone aware of his leg hair situation? Could he somehow develop into a combo forward?

Good point, although I'd like to see Smith pick up a lot of those minutes. I know he's not a SG, but I think we could make it work.

Fuller spreads out the offense where Rivers just kind of gets in the way down low. Whatever happened to Rivers' midrange jumper? I thought that was money last year.

Just don't see much that Fuller can provide for us THIS year. I still like him for the future. Coming out of HS, he reminded me a lot of -- ironically enough -- Aaron White.

This team is infinitely more fun to watch with Tarin Smith on the floor.

I know people like what they saw from Fuller tonight, but he'd get destroyed defensively against most other Big Ten teams. This just happens to be one of the least athletic teams in the league.
