Bite me

Well then, I guess Miles isn't the answer and we are going to suck because we really can't get anybody that will take us to the next level. And I was truly hoping we were starting down the right path. Oh well maybe after the next 4 years of crap we will be able to bring the "right" guy.

The difference is that in the past when Nebraska has signed guys like Hawkins, Smith, and Atewe they didn't sign guys like Tummala, Fuller, and Webster to build around them. It's not like Nebraska has never has good players/role players. The issue is that they didn't have big time playmakers/scorers/go-to guys playing around them. There have been plenty of guys that have played for Nebraska in recent years that would have done just fine on other teams like Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio St, Minnesota, Michigan St, etc. There is no doubt in my mind that guys like Brandon Ubel, Toney McCray, Brandon Richardson, Sek Henry, Lance Jeter, Eshaunte Jones, Ryan Anderson, Ade Dagunduro, etc. could have seen playing time on some really good teams, because I think they have all been pretty good players. It's just that Nebraska didn't have big-time scorers on the floor with them, so alot of times they were forced to do more than their skills allowed, and many times they were forced to play out of position. I don't think the issue is that Nebraska can never sign any players that are the same caliber as some of the players they have had over the last few years. I think the issue is that when they sign this caliber of player, they need to sign a few playmakers/scorers/go-to guys (Sai Tummala, Nick Fuller, Tai Webster) to place around them. That way the role players can play their roles, instead of being forced to do more than what their skills allow, and instead of being forced to play out of position. Excellent

Yes broken the ankles of the center and he landed on his butt then missed the step back 3. But the other above one is against Southern. They wore the powder blue away uni's. Just like they did for the NCAA's. Kent had the black on black I think. But I know the above is Southern. I remember the white head bands on all the player. -
Besides we couldn't get rid of the names of Sunny, and Shimmy. Those are classic coaches names.

Okay I'll say best class since 2010? Does that help?

No Form as in how everybody has a good or bad shooting form. You da man who tells us.

I go by recruiting rankings, then which schools have offered, then his film. And film and schools are probably more important than rankings. I feel like I see a lot in film. Not to toot my own horn here (OK, I'll toot it a little bit) but I was all over Sheldon Jeter before he had any real offers. Eventually, he wound up in the Rivals top 150 and had very solid offers including from Wisconsin. I had Matt Thomas down as a terrific player before he wound up on the Rivals 150 and same with that PG from Arizona who committed to Colorado. So, with that background, IMHO, we have some very good players coming in. I think Nick Fuller has some of the best highlight videos I've seen from anyone we've signed ... in a very long time. I think this kid is very good. Listen, compared to what we'd gotten over the last 12 years, I think the offer lists Miles' recruits have had, these kids stack up very well against anyone we've had. There were years under Collier and Doc where basically none of our signees had other big time offers. We were competing against basically all mid majors. Take Ubel for example. Don't recall exactly, but I think his best other offers were, like, Drake and Missouri State. I am comfortable that recruiting is taking a step forward. So says "Norm the Form"

He was on the other one too. Top plays of the year with the same move against the kid from Southern. -
Matthew Atewe has offers from K-State, Marquette, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, Dayton, Clemson... http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketball/recruiting/player-Matthew-Atewe-121524 I believe K-State and Marquette both pulled their offers. But the fact that they were interested at one time is good. Again, I am VERY EXCITED about Miles and the program. I'm just trying to curb the "best recruiting class since ____" talk. Hopefully it is - but there's not one guy in the class that - had Doc or Collier recruited him - we'd be saying "WOW" about ON PAPER. Also, I think if you take this year's CSU team and put them in the B1G, they probably finish around Iowa and Purdue and don't make the dance. Obviously it takes a different kind of player to win at this level. I don't want to sound TOO negative... just trying to apply some perspective - probably because I've had high hopes crushed time after time as an NU Bball fan pulled because Atewe wanted to wait until the spring and both schools wanted someone locked up. They didnt want to play the waiting game. Its easier in basketball to find someone quickly than having to wait on someone to decide. That and he visited The Little Apple and after that said ew....

Good then we can win the NCAA and Illinois can win the WNIT and the league will look good. Just like in the men'a where we will have an all BIG final 4 and Iowa will win the NIT. I really like this league.

I have no problem with you being the pooper . We some times need a level head to help us sunshine guys remember that it is a long process and that we might not be getting the best ever. I know I think on the overly positive side, so it is good to have some body to get me to think a bit.

Then we're all fooked! Yeah can almost see myself after being shot in bed by a jealous husband, me at the ripe old age of 95, and with my last breath thinking 46 pages for Matthew Atewe. If there had only been 42 I would have been done here and crawled out on the roof before her husband got home to catch us. -

I was looking at this, we will easily go over 40 pages on this thread. We have at least 5 more pages after he says yes/no.
