  1. I wonder if we won that first five minutes or not?
  2. Miss St and Missouri going to OT.
  3. This might put them up another tier now! Good win!
  4. Miami/BC tied at 70 with 25 seconds to go. Somehow BC got back into this one. Would be a nice win.
  5. No, it just shows you how much depth they have. Or at least that's what I've heard from broadcasters during Big 12 and SEC games.
  6. Still a lot of game left... for Baylor to increase that lead.
  7. Updating throughout the day.
  8. And the Big 12 likes to share titles too. So I'm sure every team will become a Big 12 champion in 2018.
  9. Not sure where to put this, but we've seen this before... You're not allowed to make eye contact with the opponent!
  10. Technically Michigan State can still get the #1 seed, which might not be good for us this year. So it's that awkward balance of ensuring Purdue/MSU get the #2/#3 seeds.
  11. Updated. Big day of hoops tomorrow. Could be a good chance to make some movement in the bubble.
  12. Most chants and traditions don't come from the spirit squad. Get the students behind it and it'll snowball into something bigger.
  13. This story sounds awfully familiar...
  14. Vegas and RPI forecasts be like:
  15. As with any statistics, it's important to understand the full picture. Just to add some more clarity: 2017-2018: 18 conference games + TBD conference tourney games (69%, TBD% including tourney) 2013-2014: 18 + 1 (61%, 58%) 1998-1999: 16 + 2 (63%, 61%) 1997-1998: 16 + 2 (63%, 61%) 1992-1993: 14 + 1 (57%, 53%) 1990-1991: 14 + 3 (64%, 65%) 1985-1986: 14 + 2 (57%, 56%)
  16. After Thursday's games, we've got 2 "Last Four In" teams who lost and 1 that won. Then 1 "Next Four Out" team that won and 1 that lost.
  17. Got a lot to watch on Saturday. Order some pizza and find a comfortable spot on the couch! Already got a +1 ready for you @royalfan. Got a lot of games on the slate to update! Saturday's Games: Oklahoma State/West Virginia - need to alleviate any OSU bubble talk Florida/South Carolina - same for USC Temple/South Florida - Temple is on the bubble Marquette/St. John's - win/win here East Tennessee State/VMI - ETS is receiving votes Kansas/Baylor - keep Baylor out of the conversation North Carolina/NC State - knock NC State down Miami/Boston College - win/win; close to moving to Tier 2 Mississippi State/Missouri - tough one, but Missouri is getting hot Texas/TCU - just keep TCU out of it Auburn/Georgia - Georgia is on the decline Purdue/Michigan State - important for Big Ten tourney standings Florida State/Notre Dame - keep FSU out of it Rutgers/Nebraska - duh Ole Miss/LSU - LSU is getting attention Seton Hall/Georgetown - why not? DePaul/Providence - Providence on the bubble Richmond/St. Bonaventure - somebody knock these guys out! Stetson/NJIT - win for us Austin Peay/Eastern Illinois - win for us Buffalo/Northern Illinois - lower that RPI Louisiana/Georgia Southern - Louisiana-Laf in the tourney Tennessee/Alabama - need to knock Alabama down North Texas/Middle Tennessee - win/win; HUUUUUUGE game with MTSU receiving votes Virginia Tech/Virginia - no more VaTech UCLA/Arizona State - ASU struggling, but UCLA also fighting for a bid Rider/Marist - win for us Florida International/Western Kentucky - keep losing WKU Texas Tech/Kansas State - KSU on the bubble and KU in contention for Big 12 title San Diego State/Nevada - Nevada in the field Wyoming/UNLV - tough one, but I'll go with Wyoming on this one Kentucky/Texas A&M - no more Texas A&M Vanderbilt/Arkansas - Arkansas on the bubble Grand Canyon/New Mexico State - NMSU needs to lose North Dakota/Idaho State - win for us Boise State/Utah State - no more BSU UT San Antonio/UTEP - win for us Gonzaga/Saint Mary's - Saint Mary's already in it Washington/Oregon State - keep losing U-Dub USC/Arizona - can the Cats actually win a game anymore? Cal Poly/Long Beach State - win for us It's only going to get more complicated with these match-ups as the weekends go on. Wouldn't mind having the majority of bubble teams to falter Saturday to help us out later down the road.
  18. Not much going on Friday: Davidson/Rhode Island - doesn't hurt Minnesota/Indiana - played Minnesota twice, so we'll go with that
  19. Updating throughout the night. Rough night for us on the bubble. But at least Oregon knocked down Washington and ASU somehow found a way to regain a 15+ minute deficit. USC should've won that game.
  20. Current AP Rankings by Conference: ACC: 5 Big 12: 4 Big Ten: 4 SEC: 3 AAC: 2 Big East: 2 WCC: 2 A10: 1 MWC: 1 Pac-12: 1
  21. I don't know if you heard, but the Big Ten is down this year.
  22. Rhetorical, but is the Pac-12 even going to have one ranked team by the end of this season???
