Kansas football currently has the opportunity to get as many wins as Nebraska had this season (21-21 3rd quarter vs. West Virginia. Let that one sink in for a minute.

You could probably make some good money if you start sharing the weather report from PBA to the parking lot around the 5:00 mark left in the game. Just saying.

As long as KenPom didn't update the prediction to 83-70 (100%) by the end of the game KenPom and @hhcmatt are usually in a good spot since their predictions are published elsewhere well before tipoff.

Remember when bowl eligibility was an expectation by many in Season 1? Well here we are four years in and Frost has never fielded a bowl eligible team. There's only so far you can move the goal posts.

As much as people despise the SEC, they've put in a whole lot of investment into their programs via coaches, facilities, and athletes. It wasn't long ago when Auburn basketball wasn't a priority and people didn't attend games. Now they're going to be a real tough opponent in December for us. They're a much better team than Syracuse is right now, regardless of the outcome of this game tonight.

After the loss to Iowa, the Creighton basketball season has officially begun.

The last time we had 3 or fewer wins (aside from Frost's two seasons of 3 wins) was 1961. The last time we saw 8 losses in a season (aside from Riley's last year) was 1957. The last time we were 5th or worse in our division (aside from Riley's last year) was 1967. The last time we hadn't made a bowl game in five straight seasons was 1961. These aren't historic program records we want to be breaking.

Truer words were never spoken. The 'system' is sound, their execution is often astounding. And I can't but for the life of me hate them for it: Why do they always hit 75% straight outta the gate against NU! There's no doubt that McDermott has prepared his teams better than Miles or Hoiberg ever has. I don't have a good answer for it, but the energy and the performance speaks for itself. One of these days I'll no longer have to speak of Creighton in any sort of situation. Until then, they've got a more well prepared squad than we have in the 21st century. Props to McDermott for whatever he is doing (under $100,000), but whatever it is he's been doing well with it.
