#1 Possession length is the only one that isn't just a run of the mill available stat. Currently we're playing faster than last season offensively but overall not as fast as the first 3 years. Our defense is dragging out possessions as well which overall turns down the number of possessions per game.

Have had regular season tickets for over a decade and this is the first time I recall booing the half-time show.

In a slight twist, Nebraska is the squad who's yet to stumble. The Jays had a clunker down in Kansas City vs Colorado St but otherwise have been firing on all cylinders including commanding wins over Iowa and Oklahoma St. With their ability to score in bunches, the Jays should be a tough out. Offensively the Huskers have been scoring from 3 and the FT line, a challenge against a Creighton team that runs you off the 3pt line and is often one of the best teams in D-1 at not putting teams on the FT line. Last season the Huskers took the fight directly at Kalkbrenner and we'll see if Reink Mast is used in a similar method. Defensively, the Huskers are likely to double down on Kalkbrenner and scramble to cover 3pt shooters. Will that work again this year? Speaking of last year, the Huskers completely bailed on offensive rebounds to stop the break. Will they be more aggressive this year? One thing to track in this game is turnovers as both teams are trying to force tough shots as opposed to generating turnovers. Thus, turnovers will likely be a sign of carelessness or lack of poise. Will either team crack under the pressure of what should be a ruckus atmosphere in Lincoln? Both teams probably like their chances in a close one. We also came back from Christmas break after 9 days off and held Iowa to 50 at home. Hopefully the defense being subpar will be to our advantage as we're going to need to move like crazy to keep them from shooting 40% from beyond 3 on us.

He's projecting us to go 10-1 in the non-conf which means we either beat Creighton or K-State as well as going 11-9 in the conference which also includes a coin flip game vs Michigan St as a win in 11 days from now. Could be that simple and really it's fairly crucial for us to go 3-1 in our next 4 games or else we have work to do in the beginning of January. Anyone who beats Purdue this year is getting a seeding bonus and if you can beat the Boliers at home that's one big ass win.

Forgot to bring up that when JL was in the locker room we finally had a lineup that didn't included JL or Boogie. For 5 possessions we had Hoiberg, Wilcher, Williams, Gary, and Allick. I'd assume that in this instance, Hoiberg was the point guard. There were no assists from anyone during this time.
