  1. Her first triple double was two years ago vs North Carolina Central. She's the only Husker to ever have two career triple doubles.
  2. Garcia is going to score. I'm more worried about Cam Christie and his mid-range getting going.
  3. These hicks actually turned off the lights during a game with 3.2 to go in OT. They held on to win.
  4. Against Ohio St Dawson Garcia took 25 shots and 14 FT attempts, scoring 36 points. Minnesota ended up scoring 74 and lost by 10.
  5. Re: 3pt attempts The 22 we took on Sunday were a season low To me it's not about taking less 3s as much as it is how do you manufacture looks for guys like Keisei and Brice when the scheme takes them away
  6. No way to sugarcoat what was a historical beatdown. After a game like that you have to hope that it motivates you in your next one as opposed to carrying over To quote the lyrical poets Garbage: "Pour your misery down on me"
  7. I'm willing to take 10 downvotes if I can change my score to Nebraska losing by 25
  8. Re: Keisei to me it's about who on the court that's a leader that can focus guys energy
  9. Not many games he'll attend with 15k people yelling
  10. Actually this was a request of mine so that I could put up any information I had without needing another thread. You ok?
  11. Re: Brice going to the locker room. Hoiberg said he's dealing with a nagging injury
  12. Per Hoiberg tonight Lloyd is out with an illness and will likely not travel to Minnesota
  13. I need to ask my next door neighbor if he knows anything. His kid committed to Kearney and then ended up flipping to Wayne St.
  14. I went back and looked at the TV broadcast and you're right he wasn't there. A benign thing that certainly could happen is that a guy starts getting sick after they submit the availability report to the conference and in the case of Lloyd it's real easy to tell him to rest up as he's not in the rotation. We'll maybe find out more on Tuesday's pre-Minnesota presser and/or some random tweet before then.
  15. The big takeaway is that we're likely to struggle against teams that run us off the 3pt line and don't put us on the foul line because that's how we've found success to start the season. We're going to have look ourselves in the face and turn those games into Doc Ball on both ends or this is the likely result. Luckily there are only a handful of teams on our schedule like this but one of them is Minnesota. If we can keep our composure and execute they're likely just going to beat themselves for us.
  16. After a while you could see they weren't closing out on those guys
  17. Notes from UNL Nebraska Postgame Notes Nebraska tied a season high with seven steals in the game. The Huskers also had seven steals against Florida A&M. Juwan Gary had a season-high three steals in the game. Keisei Tominaga led Nebraska with 20 points, his second 20-point game of the season and 12th of his career. Tominaga was the only Husker to score in double figures. Before today, Nebraska had placed at least three players in double figures in every game this season. Nebraska sees its 12-game home win streak against non-conference foes come to an end. NU was held to a season-low 60 points, as its previous low was 64 against Rider on Nov. 13. The Huskers went just 2-of-22 from 3-point range, as NU entered the leading the Big Ten with 9.6 3-pointers per game. Nebraska committed just eight turnovers, the fourth straight game with less than 10 turnovers.
  18. Perfect storm. I'm sure there were people there who found this entertaining.
  19. #1 Possession length is the only one that isn't just a run of the mill available stat. Currently we're playing faster than last season offensively but overall not as fast as the first 3 years. Our defense is dragging out possessions as well which overall turns down the number of possessions per game.
