Washington's arena looks like a mid-major team arena. -

I agree. I don't think Washington has anyone that can guard Brice. Their style of offense fits our defensive scheme. -
I went to the LNS vs LNE game on Saturday night. Houston and Castor are studs. They are both remarkable off the dribble and can create their own shot whenever they want. Houston is an excellent passer as well. They both have a good demeanor on the court as well. Not a lot of antics.

I didn't get to watch the game, but wow what a win! The team is starting to find their identity now (or again). Nebraska won the field goal %, free throw %, rebounds, and assist. Its amazing we can go on the road and win when we shoot 17% from 3. Go Big Red! -

There is a lot to breakdown from this game. If that Will Riley three would have went in at the end of regulation, I would have lost my mind. We got destroyed on the glass, but won the turnover battle. Brice was phenomenal in OT. We still should have won that game by at least 8 in regulation, but we couldn't make anything. I thought the offensive flow was a lot better, we just missed too many open looks. Although Illinois shot awful in the first half, it was good that we took advantage of the poor shooting by going into half up nine. Great win, hopefully we can get things turned around. -

I love Sam, but the fact that we were having discussions about Sam being in the starting lineup just shows you how screwed this team is. In no situation should Hoiberg ever be a Big Ten starter.

I agree with the thoughts about the offense. Our defense was decent last year because the offense fueled the defense. It's hard to play lock down defense when you can't score on offense. -

Brutal loss. Our defense the final 5 minutes was awful. USC scored 18 points in the final 5 minutes and the only play they ran was an iso with Claude and we had no one that could guard him. Even if we would of got stops we probably would have turned the ball over anyway. All of our transfers have under performed. We just don't have the dudes. -

The Huskers showed great fight. Maryland is a good team who should comfortably make the NCAA tourney. The margin for error for this Hukser team is razor thin. We simply don't have enough shooters and dudes who can put the ball in the bucket. Brice is excellent, but we need a secondary scorer who can average at least 13-15 ppg, and we don't have that guy on the roster. -

I think 7 might even do the trick. That would put as at 9-11 with some quality wins. We definitely would be in bubble territory probably as a 10 or 11 seed. The goal for the fans and what I am hoping for (I guess) is 10-10 or 11-9.

I think a huge part of it is how good Saint Mary's, Sparty, Iowa, and Purdue are on offense. Specifically, the assist rankings on KenPom. All four teams are really good passing teams. Purdue ranks 3, Sparty 9, Saint Marys 16, and Iowa 41. Those are national rankings. Sparty, Purdue, and Iowa rank, 1,2 and 4 in assist per game in conference.
