As for the turnover, so does every other coach have the same issues? Seems like there is 800+ D1 transfers per year on average. Ill agree that he had an awful stretch and he was lucky to be kept last year. Moos would be stupid to let Miles go after the 2nd best season in school history. He proved himself this year whether the big 10 was “down,” you still have to win the games. Would you rather have another mid major experiment again? Why not let the man who’s brought in talent and built a program that could make the tourney for a second time in 6 years. That would be 2 outta 8 total appearances. How many did doc or Barry get?

Whelp let’s bring in Joe Schmo and start over. Back to the mid major market we come. Just seems like you wanna can miles after one of the best seasons in Husker history. It’s just asinine, it’s not his fault the schedule set up the way it did.

This is a good tournament and close proximity. You’d think there will be a good Husker crowd.

So you’re ready for another mid major coach to come in and try and get the same amount of talent as Miles and come off the second best winning season and most conference games won in a season. Miles deserves at least 2 years after what they accomplished this year. If he tanks next year, he will be on the hot seat the following year. The facilities are nothing anymore and our fan base can be our own worst nightmare. People forget Nebraska has made it to the tournament, what 7 times in history (125ish years) miles has one of those and then damn near got another in his 6th season (still could) this talk of getting a new coach is tired some. i don’t understand the reset of a program after a 22 win season. The expectations some fans (not just you cookie) have. Just relax and let the chips fall.

Man I was pissed after the showing today, but seriously some of these ppl even on this site. Do I want us to be in the NCAA every year, hell yea. Is that realistic for a program with absolutely zero history. People need to stop with the fb expectation for basketball. NIT this year will be a good consolation prize. Imo they have to extend miles or fire him and I want him extended 2-3 years. No more one year crap. It’s gonna start hurting on the recruiting trail. Oh and if they let him go, might as well hit reset button and start over again. Hire another mid major coach, no Hoiberg isn’t coming. Lue isn’t coming, we aren’t wooing a big name with money when they know how hard it’s to win here and the fact there is no tradition/history.
