When she did play, it was great to see the support the team gave her. The pats, smiles, and encouragement she received, was fun to watch. Miss Coley might not contribute a ton on the court this year, but the team seems to be doing what it can, to ease the transition from high school senior, to a young college freshman,on her own for the first time. Regardless of final W/L record, I like the direction the program is headed. I wouldn't have said that last year. GBR!!

I noticed the Thursday, February 4th game versus Penn State, has been scheduled for 5:00 on BTN+.

I was hoping for the layup. Even if she missed, I like Sam's odds of getting the rebound. Also, I think we had 2 or 3 fouls to give before putting Illinois in the bonus. I think Cayton was going to use one on the steal, to kill some time. But, to our benefit, the Ref didn't call the foul. Entertaining game, loved the "W".

Noticed Bella and Sam joining Issie, while walking off. All smiles. Looks like a close knit group.

Cravens just took a hip check, and got called for the foul.

We sure miss Issie. Looks like she is wearing a normal pair of shoes. That's a good sign. Maybe see her Thursday vs Wisconsin?

If she plays "D", anything like Nicea, she'll contribute from day 1.

Maybe we will heal up a bit by the Monday contest with Illinois. Sure could use Issie. Not sure Brady will be in game shape, when she does make it back to playing. Could take a few games.

I believe Amy announced it today. Probably just arrived, in time for second semester classes. (do they start next week?)

Coley has to go through the Covid protocol before being cleared to play.

Good friend, Kennedi Orr, Nebraska Volleyball recruit, is also an early enrollee. That should help them both adapt to college life in Lincoln.

I noticed in the OWH, Abby Barmore has written the last couple articles, regarding Husker WBB. I hope she finds her way to this small forum. Sam has contributed in the past. It would be nice to get another "insider" voice.
