Bella jogging in the background, at the end of the quarter. Doesn't seem to be limping too bad.
-
Are you sure that isn't Eastern Time? My Cable Guide shows the Michigan game at 5:00 Central and the Nebraska game at 7:00 Central.
-
Early schedule had it wrong. The game is tomorrow. Now showing on BTN, not +. Nebraska Cornhuskers (9-7, 7-6 Big Ten) vs. Iowa Hawkeyes (10-6, 6-6 Big Ten) Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021, 7 p.m. (CT)

Not sure if it was her injuries, or just a recruiting 'reach', but never did see anything on the court that would indicate, she would be an impact type of player for Nebraska.
-
It looked like she was walking OK after the game. She wasn't on the screen long, but I didn't notice any limping.
-
For only playing one minute, she was a bright spot for me.

Stewart had another nice shooting game. Still wonder why she wasn't used more last game. Today, looks like Cain was the forgotten person on the bench. I would also like to see WB get some of the Scoggin minutes. Inability to handle pressure, lazy/ill advised passes, no position defense, etc. Could mention these flaws after losses for years now. Things not near as rosy when on the short end of the scoreboard. With Maryland and Iowa next in line, could be a rough stretch.

That quarter was ugly. Exposing a recurring weakness. We don't handle pressure well. In their defense, if the stripes allow the physical crap Rutgers is pulling, it is going to be a long afternoon.

Noticed the Iowa game @ Nebraska has been scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 10, 7:00 PM on BTN+.

I replayed the portion of the game Stewart was in, and didn't notice anything unusual. She was running well. Didn't appear to be any reason physically, to keep her on the bench. We had a cold shooting half, and she didn't play. Strange. Reminds me of another game we shot poorly, and Ruby sat most of the game (Minnesota?). It would be interesting to get an explanation.
-
A bit of the 'Matador' defense. It was good to see Ruby step in front of the driver and draw the travel towards the end of the half. Maybe "D" will be a topic during the half.
-
A little tape and Bella is back. Tough kid.
-
Penn State looks better than their 6-7 record. Cash is good. We need the 3's to start dropping. Good to see Issie in there.
-
Ruby has adjusted well. She seems to contribute more each game. And, Coley has another week of practice under her belt. She could possibly give a few good minutes. This is fun. GBR

TV schedule for a couple more games, was posted. Feb. 7th - Sunday 12:00 BTN+ @Rutgers Feb 14th - Sunday 4:00 FS1 Maryland

Does height run in the family? (wishful thinking )

I could see a team taking a shot on her. Just not that many 6' 5" ladies, with nice touch around the basket, and shot blocking skills. I don't see her as a starting player, but could add some depth to a roster. Up to now, basketball has been a part of her college experience. She's also a student. Based on graduating in 3 years, and now pursuing a Masters Degree, she works hard at her studies. Hard telling what she could achieve, playing basketball, if it was her main focus. Then again, is the WNBA something she'd like to pursue? She might have other plans, and her education should give her the opportunities.
-
When she did play, it was great to see the support the team gave her. The pats, smiles, and encouragement she received, was fun to watch. Miss Coley might not contribute a ton on the court this year, but the team seems to be doing what it can, to ease the transition from high school senior, to a young college freshman,on her own for the first time. Regardless of final W/L record, I like the direction the program is headed. I wouldn't have said that last year. GBR!!

Here comes Coley.
-
Good start, but we led Minnesota early too. Time to pour it on.
-
Looks like Issie and Brady in street clothes.

I noticed the Thursday, February 4th game versus Penn State, has been scheduled for 5:00 on BTN+.

I was hoping for the layup. Even if she missed, I like Sam's odds of getting the rebound. Also, I think we had 2 or 3 fouls to give before putting Illinois in the bonus. I think Cayton was going to use one on the steal, to kill some time. But, to our benefit, the Ref didn't call the foul. Entertaining game, loved the "W".
