Yeah-- unfortunately, we're now going to be going into our "softest" stretch and we can't really avoid any slip ups. It would have been nice to play a little loose and instead we'll probably be a little tight knowing we're towing a fine line.
Man I hope so Cip. If we get it back to 8 at any point this game, I'll be excited. Your posts have pulled us through before... hopefully you saved a little bit of that magic for tonight too.
I posted this 6 days ago in the Wisconsin thread... but it still rings true today. So maybe it'll work again tonight.

I've said it multiple times... there is NO reason this team shouldn't dance THIS year and if we don't I won't be happy with where the program is at. Losing this one isn't going to knock us out, but it means we're going to have to be better than we have been on the road down the stretch. It doesn't get any easier Sunday either.
The games we've squandered early against Rutgers and Minny are looming large the deeper into the season we go.
Not getting a great feeling about this one. Doesn't seem like we can stop them. Unlike Illinois, they'll most likely hit their threes too.
Hopefully we turn it up on the D end here soon.
Not shooting the best-- neither is NW. Bit of an ugly start for both teams. Had two trips where we could have tied it up and didn't. Sigh. Here come CJ and JLaw. Hopefully they provide a spark off the bench.
If anyone is wondering about why JLaw might not be starting... here is a metric on T-Rank for every player on the team and where they rank to others.
Points Over Replacement Per Adjusted Game
Didn’t Fred say he liked the big lineup with all three of Gary, Jo, and Mast? Idk if the rumor is true, but maybe we try and go big and dominate the glass right away.
The nice thing about the Big 12 is just about every game is a win/bigger win scenario. Provided you don’t get blown out and you don’t lose to WVU or OKST (which KSU did), you shouldn’t drop that much and have so many opportunities to move up.
