  1. Just quick glance KU: Q1- 6-7 (3 Q1A), Q2- 3-2, Q3- 5-0, Q4- 3-0. Resume Avg: 23.3, Predictive Avg: 19.6 3-7 road record, #25 Non-Con sos, best win #2 Duke (N) NU: Q1- 6-7 (2 Q1A), Q2- 3-1, Q3- 2-1, Q4- 6-0. Resume Avg: 34.6, Predictive Avg: 41.3 5-5 road record, #178 Non-Con sos, best win #33 Oregon (A). They definitely have the bigger win and we have the worse loss. Despite our similar quad records, they have played the tougher schedule by far. Metrics also love them. Resume wise, I’d say we still have a bit to go to catch up.
  2. What do the kids say these days? Must not know ball? Or something like that.
  3. Probably stamped their ticket to the B1G tournament. 1 win up on Iowa and Rutgers, 2 wins up on NW and Wash and 3 up on PSU.
  4. We need to start seeing the ball go through the hoop a lot more early than we have been, but once again, our shot selection to start isn't necissarily an "attack the rim" strategy. This entire month, our first shot is a 3 or jumper. Northwestern: Bryce missed 3 Maryland: Morgan missed jumper Ohio St: Williams made 3 Washington: Berke made 3 Oregon: Berke missed 3
  5. Without running numbers, I might have to go with @ Maryland. Would flip our Q1 record to 7-6, give us a 3rd Q1A road win, and we’d be sitting at 10 Q1/2 wins on the year. Not to mentioned we’d be sitting at 18 wins with our magic number likely to be 19.
  6. Oklahoma is in 95 of 97 brackets on BM with a conference record of 3-9 and a 16-9 record overall. Beat PSU and Minny and were probably locked at least into Dayton. Every other win would be for seeding.
  7. Nice they didn’t try and come back home first.
  8. Gotta get Brock some more runs here.
  9. Our 6 Q1 wins put us in a tie for 11th best in the nation in terms of number of Q1 wins. There are just 18 teams with 6 or more Q1 wins. Our six wins put us in the same company as Purdue, Mississippi St, Oregon, Wisconsin, Maryland, Houston, and Michigan. We officially passed Baylor, KU, Ole Miss, West Virginia, Mizzou, Creighton, Michigan St, Marquette, UCONN, Duke, Florida, and Memphis in terms of number of Q1 wins.
  10. From the Northwestern game thread. Shout out Gavin G!
  11. Looked real good tonight. Go out tomorrow, keep the bats going and get out of weekend 1 at 3-1!
  12. An odd stat, but the win today gives us a 3 game *road* winning streak.
  13. Does baseball use the net because this offensive and defensive efficiencies would be off the charts! LOL
  14. They are one of those teams that are weird when it comes to the NET and metrics. Really their best win is either Maryland or Illinois at home. But outside of that, they lost all of their better Non-Con games and haven't done squat in conference.
  15. The Oregon blowout of Rutgers will likely drop that to a Q3 loss tomorrow. We have more than enough Q1 wins to make up for it though.
  16. Have a feeling we’re going to be one of those “seeded better than many bracketologists had them” type of teams.
  17. Those 6 Q1 wins are probably top 25ish in the nation though. And 3/6 away from home.
  18. There’s takes on here… and then there’s takes like this. This take is pure trash.
  19. Previous teams lose this game after being up 20. This team wins it after being down 20. Crazy how the turn tables.
  20. Can't remember who said Gavin was going to help us win a game down the stretch. His stat line isn't going to pop out, but he absolutely did in the first half by not letting them separate.
  21. Really though... We got a few calls where I didn't know that we would. So............ I still don't like em.
