I thought Refs could see the same things as we do - at the speed of light! Must be a bit slower for them! -

Jake keeps saying a lot of contact (when we have the ball in the paint), but no calls! -
No revelations here, but at this point Both the Coaching and Team seem "Rudderless." One doesn't see anyone "stepping-up" in a 'Leadership' role, at least in any way we've been used to seeing. I don't know if COVID has had anything to do with it or not, but after Covid (year two) things have certainly changed for the worse (even after year one roster rebuild). So much has happened that, despite a lot of conjecture, is not well-explained. For example; Fred contracting Covid (along with his known heart condition). Doc, not traveling with the team, and ostensibly giving up his coaching responsibilities, and Coaching turnover (Lutz, etc.). Then we have Matt A taking an unexplained "Leave of Absence;" now reportedly back on the coach's bench during games. And then there were the rumors of unreported NCAA "Violations," that ultimately amounted to nothing and have gone away. Other than conjecture, I'm not sure anyone knows for sure what is really going on within the program; for example, just who is responsible for what. I do know that things will have to change, exactly how I have no idea, but that is what Fred , along with Trev Alberts will have to sort out.

You're right! Iowa MUST have something to do with it!

Rebounds? We outplayed Iowa in nearly every category (but shooting).

Post-Game Press Conference: w/Coach Williams, Sam Haiby & Jaz Shelley First of all Coach gave Kudos to our Incredible Fan Base for coming out to support the team (heartily seconded by Jaz later in the interview) a really Fun (insane, said Jaz) crowd. A disappointing loss but gave credit to Iowa for an incredible game, they made Big shots, Big plays but our Defense was not what we wanted. We are going to have to do better to make it more difficult for them. We knew our transition defense was an important key to the game for us; we weren't always where we needed to be and doing what we needed to do on D. We will have to step back and study the film to see where we can improve going forward. We need to put this behind us, do what we can to get better, be a better team and prepare for the next (Indiana) game.

When in Linclon, Get Thee to PBA (for Tomorrow's game vs # 22 IOWA)

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED - REPORTED ATTENDANCE = 8,415 (ONLY @ NEBRASKA ) Fourth largest crowd for WBB @ PBA (Nebraska vs Iowa 1/9/22) -
Husker Ladies play hard, and with heart and enthusiasm. After trailing almost all of the game they took the lead in the 4th. If it weren't for the shooting differential we out played them in almost EVERY other category (and don't forget the horrible officiating that gave Iowa (& Clark) virtually every call). Some weaknesses yes, but I think we'll learn from this. Love this team!!!

Tough, Tough Loss (But it's hard to beat a good team that is shooting @ 62.0%) Great Effort by the Husker Ladies - out rebounded 'em 41-34! Final Stats:

Worst job of reffing ever!

HUSKERS LEAD 79-78

You can say that again!!!!!! Husker ladies are playing out of their minds to keep it this close!!!! Now if our shots start falling.
