Bryce had a 4-year contract with Charlotte that was set to expire after this season. But he's currently on a two-way contract with the Blazers. So yes in that no team is contractually obligated to him next year. This year is EXTREMELY important for Bryce. A player can only be designated as a two-way guy during his first four seasons, so he will not be eligible for that going forward. Very much a make-or-break year for him in the league. His performance got him called-up to the Blazers again, but last night he was back with Rip City (where he dropped 37 points). A two-way player is eligible for the active roster no more than 50 NBA games per season. I'm not sure how many games he's been on the active roster this season (there were a handful earlier in the year, probably < 10) but the Blazers have 58 games remaining. Hopefully that means he will be on the active roster a decent amount for the rest of the year. Blazers get blown-out a lot, so should be some chances for him to show-off in garbage minutes and hopefully land a contract somewhere.

TWO HUSKERS SHARING THE COURT AT THE SAME TIME IN THE BLAZERS V. LAKERS GAME!!!!!!! Bryce came in and 30 seconds later tossed an alley-oop dunk to Shaedon Sharpe. Then on the next offensive set, Bronny James Jr. got called for a goaltending violation giving Bryce his first bucket.

He was nursing this injury earlier in the season too. Possibly lingering effects from his SA on that drunk 17 year-old girl last year. Absolute dirtbag, perfect for their system.

Game Day Essentials: Game #8 at Michigan State

South Dakota and North Florida were no contest, but I think they were still games. -
Bryce has been leading the entire G-League in scoring this season. Been #1 for his last few games. But their website is so freaking terrible that they haven't updated the stats page. As of now it shows him at #2 with 27.2 ppg, but if you click on his player profile it correctly lists him at 28.6 ppg. It's a conspiracy.

2024-25 Husker opponents

Boy, you really hate to see it... Highly likely they lose their next four games as well. I thought the only winnable one would be against UNLV, but they beat Memphis (who knocked-off UConn yesterday). The birdshits will be entering conference play at 4-6. Wonder what attendance numbers at the CHI will look like this season? 12-8 might be the best case scenario for them in the Big East...they might struggle to qualify for the NIT this year. -
I went to high school at LSE at the same time as Nick and he also had zero interest in attending Nebraska. During Nick's junior year, Roy Williams actually drove-up to watch him practice one morning and discussed him walking-on at KU with the potential of earning a scholarship. Nebraska had signed Jake Muhleisen two years prior and had definitely reached-out through LSE Coach Jeff Smith, but there was no interest on Nick's part after Roy Williams put delusions of grandeur into his head.

Even my 69 year-old mother recognized in real-time that Ashworthless was flailing his right leg out, trying to draw a foul. We weren't in his landing space. Ultimate FAFO moment for that little baby bird. I didn't think this would be a long-lasting injury because only a small portion of his bodyweight was on that leg he kicked-out. If he would've come straight down and rolled the ankle on his left leg with 100% of his weight, that could've been way worse. The NBA famously created the "Zaza Rule" where they review these type of plays and issue a flagrant 1. This is named after the internationally-renowned dirtbag, Zaza Pachulia who purposely took out Kawhi Leonard in Game 1 of the 2017 WCF by stepping directly under his landing leg as he rotated over to defend a jumper. Kawhi had already tweaked that ankle in Game 5 of the WC Semifinals, causing him to sit out Game 6. In Game 1, he'd already scored 26 points to put the Spurs up 20 on the Warriors, then Pachulia knocked him out for the rest of the series, and Golden State came back to win Game 1 and eventually sweep the series. Also sorry for the rant. GSW is basically the Omaha school of the NBA so seemed on topic.

But Shon Morris said it was an “obvious call”? Didn’t look like ball was within the cylinder when we slapped the net. Glad it got fixed. Close-out a little better on the perimeter, St. Mary’s regresses toward the mean and we can pull this out. Keep fighting and attacking the interior off the dribble-drive. They don’t have our depth, we gotta keep drawing fouls. -

The song was about them being broke. “Fat” in this case meant gaining wealth. The line even changes in the final verse that everyone is getting fat except her.
