  1. Nice win, ladies!! Collapse in the last 2 minutes a bit concerning, though. Definitely something to work on. Be strong with the ball and go meet the ball on passes.
  2. I really wanted Hoiberg to succeed. However, after the 2nd half performance against the formerly worst team in the conference (Nebrasketball has now firmly grasped that title), he deserves to be fired. Worst exhibition of basketball I've seen in a long, long time. If you can't find a way to contain Ola-Joseph...ooof. Can I change my conference win total prediction to 0? This team is horrible.
  3. Well, if you're gonna get smoked, may as well make it worth your while and kick Shitheadman in the family jewels and fire the ball as hard as you can at McDoofus' face and wipe the smirk off his ugly melon.
  4. These c#cksuckers have gotten away with about 7 or 8 travels.
  5. We comin', KenPorn!
  6. Corn 78 Wood 62 9 non-con 17 total
  7. She certainly has demonstrated the vision and ability to make some pretty darn good passes, but, as you've noted with the AS:TO ratio, she also forces some SMDH passes quite frequently. Kind of been a recurring problem overall with the women's team, although seems to have improved a good bit over the last couple of years.
  8. Nice game Sam G.! Looks like he may have tinkered a bit with his shooting stroke. Looks like a smoother and certainly more confident motion that what we saw at DONU.
  9. Does MM have any experience at QB?
  10. In the past, the MO of Williams & Co. seems to have been leaving open scholarships just about every year, so I would guess it is more than likely those spots are not filled.
  11. The 3rd one was allowed for a long time until they put a stop to it a few years ago. I don't really understand why they would want to go back to that. It's ridiculous. If you're airborne, flying out of bounds, with the ball, you don't have 'control' of the ball because the end result is you will land out-of-bounds if you hold the ball. There is no true possession (other than the physical act of holding the ball) because the 2 options available are try to throw the ball back in before you land or continue holding the ball until you land which is a turnover. On No. 5, maybe they could also include fractions, non-integer numbers, Roman numerals (XXXII instead of 32 would be cool) or symbols for mathematical constants such as pi.
  12. The ESPaN.com write-up incorrectly states Bourne is back, so if the brainiacs over there can figure that out, Nebraska will no longer be No. 25.
  13. Seems to me playing time is probably No. 1 on most transfer's list of reasons with 'fit' (i.e., getting along with coaches, staff, other players and the university culture) maybe being next most important. Since he started most of last year, playing time doesn't seem like the most important issue with him, but having been at Iowegia for 3 years, you have to wonder about not fitting in. As you stated, maybe he is just a loyal young man and Fran or one of the other coaches continued to get on his nerves and he couldn't take it any more. Who knows. Hopefully he can be a steady presence on the court for Nebrasketball.
  14. If you can't get an out against the dregs of the opposing lineup swimming well below the Mendoza line, you're going to struggle. If you can't eke out a single win against the likes of Crayton or UNO, you aren't a very good team.
  15. I didn't watch either game, but if the stats I saw were correct, it looked like S.C. absolutely shat their drawers in the shooting department. Since defense to Iowa is like sunlight to vampires, I'm going to assume S.C. just totally sucked and Iowa got a bit lucky with a probably better team having a bad game. Curious to hear from others if the bad shooting was due to anything Iowa did or if it was just bad shooting. Addendum: just saw redsteve's post above about their defensive strategy. Still kind of sounds like S.C. just missed a buttload of shots. I don't care for S.C. or Staley, but there's no way in Hades I would ever cheer for Iowa, especially with its current roster chock full of whiney little !@$&^%@#$'s. It would truly be a dark day if they win a NC, but I fully expect it to happen. With the media hype and buildup that Clark is getting, I fully expect the Three Blind Mice to be at least subliminally affected and she will spend most of the game at the FT line to pad her stats and complete the media-desired result. I suspect that will probably be the major difference in the game.
  16. Must be rough if your family doesn't want you around!
  17. First order of business is finding a way to keep KU's post below 20 rebounds and holding the percentage of that total being offensive rebounds well below 50%. Unfortunately, being on their court, the chances of Markowski getting 2 fouls in the 1st quarter rise significantly.
