Maryland Info
Head Coach: Kevin Willard
Location: College Park, MD
Conference: B1G 10
Nickname: Terrapins, Terps
Mascots: Testudo
Typical Rotation Depth: 7+
KenPom rank: 33
A couple of Famous Alumni: Juan Dixon, Len Elmore
Other:
- Nebraska won't stop home between this game and their next game at Illinois
- This is former Seton Hall coach Kevin Willard's first season at Maryland
- It's coaches vs cancer week so expect both coaches to be wearing suits and sneakers
KenPom Analysis: A bit like Northwestern, Maryland isn't a great shooting team but makes up for it through shot volume. Maryland is the type of team that hunts offensive boards and tries to fastbreak.
Player to watch: G Jahmir Young
The Charlotte transfer has always been a dynamic scorer and is one of the highest usage players in the conference. Three level scorer is the key to Maryland's success.

Others to watch
- Donta Scott is a solid secondary scorer to Young; rim protector
- Reese is strong on the boards and is shooting 65% from the field
- Carey should have been the best 3pt shooter on the team but is struggling this season at 28%

Addressed Maryland's unique defense
The Skinny:
It's very much a shame that Bandoumel nor Gary are available for this game as they would have been incredibly effective against a Maryland team with an offense so centered around a PG and defense that gives up offensive rebounds. Such is life.
The Terrapins are going to press up the court not so much as to turn you over as to run shot clock. They'll fall back into either man or zone. Nebraska's offense might be in for a longer day than usual if they can't figure it out. Maryland's a poor shooting 3pt team so it will be about trying not to foul and securing defensive rebounds.
Nebraska tends to bounce back after poor outings so look for them to hang with Maryland for a while.
Prediction: Maryland 74 - Nebraska 61
