Numbers for '15

How many likely openings do we have for scholarship spots at the end of the season going into next year?

 

He already have 3 HS commits.  Everyone seems to agree that it'd be nice to find a legit big somewhere. 

 

How many more spots we got, though?  There was a vacant spot that we've left open for 3 years, then Rivers and Abraham are seniors, as is Leslee if he plays this season and doesn't try for a 6th year.

 

If we assume that Leslee will return to the lineup yet this season, then we have 4 spots, right?

 

Anything else would be an early departure, true?

I'm pretty sure that Leslee Smith was denied that 6th year already. So, yeah, it's at least 4 total spots for the 2015-16 class w/o Rivers, L. Smith & Menke + open. Add in Jacobsen, Morrow & Watson, and it's currently at only 1 available to sign in the spring.

I think we have 1 open spot. more would open if anyone leaves/transfers.

 

If petteway stays and we land an immediate impact big guy, next year's expectations will make this year's expectations look like nothing.

We have one assuming that Leslee plays and Petteway comes back for his senior year.

Feel free to assign your own odds on those events occurring.

JUCO Big Man would fit in awful well in terms of class size and need. Senior Transfer is also doable.

90% chance we have one more to give;

 

45% chance we'll have two more to give; and

 

5% chance we'll have more than two more to give.
