anyone ever notice

Before a game starts some sort of for lack of a better term smoke comes down from somewhere by the 300 levels. I've noticed it a few times anyone know what it is or what it's used for?

I think it helps with lights n stuff for the pregame?

This has been covered before and I believe it is to enhance the lighting in the arena sort of like how the smog enhances the city lights in LA.
